"Cinematic contest GOES LIVE!" is back

Um... What's the deadline again? 25th? Could you... uh... ummm... wait for some more. Maybe 2-3 days, alright? I just have to finish a small scene for the first part of my "Heart Of Evil", but I'll be very busy on 22, 23, 24, 25 of May cuz... I'M ****ING FINISHING THE SCHOOOOOOOOLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seriously hope you were kidding ://// lol. I think that's even more obvious than the Camera options affecting the CAMERA lol.

Anyway, as for the delay, it's fine with me, but I don't have a damn say in it at all being DK's contest.

Although if it supports the delay I think it should be known that around May 30th I'll probably get my "able to run War3" computer back from the repairshop, and that'll help me judge these and all lol.

Yeah maybe a little extra time would be good cuz I got PC problems now :bgrun: one of my HDs has stop responding entirely and it takes 20+ minutes to open W3 or WE I hope I can salvage all my files and move them to my other HD but I haven't tried it yet.

Heh, been there before lol. I once nearly lost IC and The Power of One thanks to a crash like that, but luckily I had a backup that wasn't very old.

Ha ha, it's sad, there was a time when I was nuts over The Power of One thinking that it would be my ticket to fame, and I just kept IC around as a hobby.

What scares me though, is that noobish as the map was (I cancelled it ya know), it was STILL a better RPG than most of the stuff out now. I even had more Diablo stuff than the Diablo maps, like working waypoints, interactive NPCs with 5 randomized normal quotes, and a Merc AI system. I also made lots of trigger-based spells and secrets. I just cancelled it for having wa too many bugs, terrible terrain, and a general noobish feeling to it (after playing Khaggs I quit). One day I may actually make an RPG map, but that would be after RoN for sure....

Well I was able to salvage all my important War3 files including the revised version of my first cinematic and the contest map.

I re-installed War3 on my other HD and everything works fine. Now it only takes 1 or 2 minutes to get into War3 instead of 20. I still don't know what's wrong with the other HD, but whatever it's a lost cause.

Well with all good news there is some bad news. I lost the second part of my series it got corrupted some how during the transfer so I gotta start that over. WE works fine but UMSWE is not working now :bgrun: says it can't find the worldedit.exe to patch or something. I'll figure that out later but now I gotta catch up on what I haven't gotten done in my cinematic.

Wow! I'm almost done! Just have to make some splash screens and fix some bugs.

Oh, and help me please somebody! Where can I upload it? It's 16,4 megs! Help me please! HELP!!! :knife:

Cool, its nice to see someone else actually in the contest. Good luck on winning though, CF and Nul's cinematic is going to be hard to beat.:D Can you give any more info on it? Maybe a thread that has screenies and teaser stuff.
Check with Nuladion on hosting. I am getting my map hosted with him so maybe there will be enough space left.

You know what: If I refuse to host all the cinematics, tLoN will be the only one entering the Contest, so it would be an instant winner 8)
