What low blow? I read rain's post and it seemed pretty respectful to me. All he said was that he was in no position to invite you in the first place, that maybe he should have talked it over with the people who were originally intended to be in the project before inviting you. It doesn't mean that they might not invite you after they've talked it over.

I never really saw a probelm with The_Lord becoming involved, or anyone else who contributed ideas for that matter....

This whole 'invitation' thing, while good for initial recruiting, isn't something we should feel ourselves bound to. I mean, with the 'current' artists, we've got a solid core of artists, but why should we not include other artists who become interested?

As I see it, I'm one of five in the current group. I really feel over-looked when people post things based on the assumption that the rest of the group is going to back them up.

Let's try to keep this nice and civil in here, please? I really want to work on this and I don't want to see my work-place degenerate into anything... distracting.

Well, that is an immature response from a moderator.

We have been sending PM to each other... We have sent each other plots and ideas. Erwtenpeller was the one who suggested the idea of the chain comic. And when we started out, I showed Darkangel_56's art to erwtenpeller and he loved it.

And it is my fault that they could not contribute anything because I have not started my pages. Erwtenpeller's scanner is broken. Still he did suggest many ideas, and was the one most active in this thread. I sort of teased him saying if he does not get his scanner fixed his design ideas would go up in flame.

EDIT: We want to start out carefully. You want to see an example of chain comics gone bad? This is what happens when people throw in random ideas. Drawing what they want to without consulting with other artists.

If only the first two people talked over what is needed to be done, it could have been great. But instead every artists would add characters with absolutly no purpose. The plot goes nowhere, and some of them are ideas taken from random anime. (Inuyasha, Love Hina for instance...)

I feel that if we want to make more people want to get involved, the first couple artists really must set the standard. So this is an initial stage, and I do not want to be too hasty with too many ideas. Once the people currently involved are finished, the next chapters could be filled by volunteers.(well, at least that's what I want it to be like)

If you took my comment as an insult, then I have to apologize. I was getting a bit annoyed by the sheer number of 'suggestions' and 'ideas' by so many people.

In my mind, after I am done with my pages, I will start a new chain comics. You can start one yourself, and I will participate.

BTW, I am very offended by your response.

Hey, I just want everyone who's working on this to know that today is the last final of the semester for me. Come tomorrow morning, I travel to fair New Mexico, where the sun is warm. Once I am home, I will not have easy access to a scanner, or to the internet. I may stop by once or twice, but, be wary, I will be on vacation, and I've got a very simple rule to vacationing: don't do anything.

What this means is that I won't be here as often to post my ideas/responses/artwork. This doesn't mean I've lost interested, it just means A) I'm on vacation, 2) I can't scan anything and C), I can't get on the internet nearly as often.

That's probably why I've been pushing so hard on this.

I guess you want a comment, since that's what you wanted from me in the first place. I am going to put this as simple as possible, since there is a chance you are going to misinterpret it as an insult like the previous threads...

While the pictures are excellent, I am going to wait for the design by the members of the initial group. You(everyone) can all post ideas here, but I won't really consider featuring them unless it is mind blowingly good. (Again, the Lord, this is NOT an insult. I just want to give the initial group to have priority, that's all.)

These are MY pages, and I will make them as I see it fit during my pages. I want each artists working on pages to have at least one character they have designed... Besides, I do not have THAT many pages to do to include ALL of your(everyone's) ideas. Wait until we are done with the first five issues, and wait until it is your turn to make the pages.

my vacation started yesterday, and unlike undertow my only objectives for the coming two weeks is watch lord of the rings a lot, drink a hellolottabeer and draw a lot weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
