I feel it's time for me to speak again. Know that what I speak is from my opinion alone, and nothing holds you to it. Also, know that I am not a part of the staff of this campaign, nor do I intend to be. That being said, I'd like it to be known if you wish to pay points to those who model for this project (as modeling is often the hardest thing to get people to do), I'd donate some points to your campaign to help keep the costs down. So, if it's 200 points for that model edit, or whatever, drop me a PM and I'll see what I can do. Now, I want you to know that I see you all taking the Murlocs in a direction I did not foresee. You speak of a Murloc Imperial Guard, and that confounds me greatly. Who does this Imperial Guard serve? Whyfore would a Murloc so openly bare arms? As, I've said, Murlocs are simple creatures, or at least I see them as thus. They've no need for armor or guards. They do what they will and if there comes a need to fight, they do so with crude weapons and no armor. For they are not yet learned in the ways of smithing, at least not as learned as men are. Also, the slogan you're using for the campaign I find strange. "{Murlocs Shall invade Lordaeron And retake what was theres}". To this I say, no. They are not retaking anything, for nothing has been stolen from them, lest you say the life of their king, but that is not something you can retake. It was for the love of their fair fallen king that the Murlocs arose. It was not a struggle born of hatred, but born of love. The Murlocs are simple creatures, and love and like come more easily to them than hatred. They would rather spend days wading in cool pools and swimming about, speaking at length with each other about various comings and goings rather than tend to sharpening swords. Indeed, that is the tale that I feel should be told. The day when one so simple were harmed so grieveously by fear and ignorance, the Murlocs rose. Such things none could have forsee, for what courage lie in those hearts, to attack armed soldiers clad in mail with nothing more than the skin on their backs and simple hunting tools, none could foretell. The tale is of the falling of times of bliss into times of woe. It is sad, and hard to bare, but there will be happiness at the end, though what it is, I cannot now see. Finally, I have a few things for you. First, is a concept art. It is rough, but it will do. I have drawn a Murloc Elder (or maybe a Murloc Chieftain). They are the leaders of the Murloc villages. They are not particularly bright, or strong or anything special (other than round), but all the other Murlocs first look to them for answers. |

Also, I am wondering why all the Murlocs I see have thorns on their backs. When I see Murlocs, I see this: |

Thats the way blizz made them in TFT and you have a good point about the imperial guards they stole the armor of footmen and put it on but modifed it a bit and the reason there called imperial guards because there protecting the king's son so they call them selves imperial guards because they will do anything for the prince or king |

Well, you know, with some simple .mdl editing, you could easily get both the thorny and finned Murlocs in the same game together. If that sounds like it would be of any use to you, let me know and I'll tell you how to do it. |

hahahaha ok ok let us explain theres two kind of murlocs in our campaign the imperials one in armor have never left the underwater so u never saw them anywhere else. the second clan The Balzac* are more tribal, unfortunatly those two Clan are in war some murlocs (Those u see on melee map) have left the sea leaving behind them the war so they dont need any armor or weapon infurtunatly they have been raped in the other war of other races now they r tired and seek to get back in underwater. Murloc ARENT weak they r ancient as the night elves are and u have no idea wat can hide in the underwater, this tile will make our campaign unique Oh and for the spikes well lets say murlocs with spikes are Warriors. *can change the name for this murloc clan hmmm about the murloc concept of undertown i dont think murloc have a tail and a big belly lol but its could be the leader of the renegade murloc thos who left the sea |
