Ahaha actually I've only played it about 3 hours since I got it. I've been doing other stuff. (Some TTOA, some not). Well I'm going to tell you all right now, not to expect any consistent updates or anything really special until I get out of school (June 3rd). I have exams pretty soon, and I'd like to just knuckle down on finishing school and trying to finish the TTOA website so I can put out soon. I have a lot different things to do, such as organizing the 27,289 files on my desktop. YES, I am serious! I just about shat myself when I looked at the Desktop folder properties and found that out. Well 90% of that is sound files which are already mostly organized in separate folders, but I've got some work cut out for me. (I'm sure I'll spend at least 2 or 3 days sorting through sounds to find good ambient, walking, combat, and other misc. sounds that I can use in TTOA). And for those of you who haven't seen the Halo 2 MP trailer yet, get your arse on over to http://www.fileplanet.com. Bungie's added some hella cool new features, and they're still going to be working on it for another 6 months! I've yet to check out the 600 mb Half-Life 2 trailer, but I assume it ought to be quite entertaining as well. Over and out, Iron_Ian |

I'm waiting until school is out to resume my project too; except this is my last week. :D Over summer, try to bite the bullet and get alot of work done. At this rate, it'll be approximately 12 years before you finish TToA if you're actually gonna do all those parts. ^_^ And you didn't use any smilies in your last post. I've never seen a smileyless post from you. |

Lol yep. I plan to try to knuckle down a bit more in the summer. I'll actually have 16 hours a day where I don't have to do anything (well I'll be working for Reverie too, but I'll be working somewhere around 20-30 hours a week most likely). Quote:
*shivers* That can't be a good sign :( |

2-25-04 Heya folks, guess I ought to make at least a bit of an update. Haven't had any time for TTOA lately what with a school project, some work for Reverie Entertainment, and exams coming up soon. I should have some time this weekend though. I have my first 2 of 6 exams on Friday, so I'll be pretty occupied Thursday night. I've also gotta bust my ass in math class to raise my grade. (D- right now, worst I've ever done in a class b4) I've had a tough year, with alot of nazi grader teachers. So I'll probably be doing oodles of extra credit or something for math class during the next 2 days. In good news, I won a $25 Gas Card today in school. We had this thing called "Operation Pencil Box" (leave it to our school to come up with fruity names). You could buy school supplies, and drop them off, and they would be sent to the Iraq/Kuwait area schools. Everyone participating got to enter in a drawing, and wadaya know, I won something ^_^ As for TTOA, I think I'm going to have a go at drawing up my worldmap sometime soon. I was talking to Dan (DaemonKillar) a few days ago about making world maps. Ok so thats all the insane babble I got, have a nice day... I mean night... or whatever time it is where you live. :> Lord Iron_Ian the Almighty Cinematic Developer ... and master of Cheese (snicker ^_^ ) |

Summer break has come!!! Yepzor, its that time again, which means its time for me to start kicking ass on TTOA again. I'm going to take about a week to just relax and screw around with some stuff on my comp (Still need to clean up my messy desktop for instance). Afterward I think I'll be either hitting the World Editor, or working on the website (most likely the latter of the two). Iron_Ian |

YEAH, I am so glad man, that you are going on with it, you have now 2 parts, I don't have released my first part of the hobbit, but I am sure, I am gonna do before your part 3 is up for download ^^. Man I am really looking forward that all cinematic-makers here make their work to its end and present the whole cinematic, that is also my dream for my cinematic, and Ian I think you will do it completely. Please tell us once a weak about updates. :D |

I sure do hope I complete the whole series. I'm a bit inconfident about it right now, but I'm sure as soon as I get back into the World Editor, I will start cranking out things pretty fast again. Anyways thanks guys, I'll be sure to keep everyone updated. - Iron_Ian |

Yey, nice to hear that. But put that website aside and get yourself into mapping. For myself I would surely appreciate info about the story, bestiary and so on, but I mean, hey, the movie itself is so much more important. Don't keep yourself from work with rather unimportant stuff. Also you won't beat us other cine-makers with a website ;-) |

i agree with Erati. The only threads still alive in here are stickied. Personally i dont even read the bestiary and unit info stuff, get to work on the map, once you get into it its harder and harder to stop. Its summer now so get some work done. ;) Dont put it off. Good Luck! -Zurg |

Hmm Ian, sounds like a challenge ;) |

Now I wonder if the modellers of the team will follow along if I pick up pace... ;) Bwuhahahahaha! ------------- Well, I'm going to hopefully pop back into the editor on Wednesday or Thursday, until then I really do need to work on a script, and a few things. Hopefully I'll have some new screenies, etc, within the next week or two. ^_^ - Iron_Ian EDIT: Oh and btw guys, the reason I'm working on the site is so I have something to show off, and I can get more support for the mod. I'm in need of more skinneres & modelers right now. And I'm hoping to perhaps even get a composer as well. But before around advertising and asking for help, I've gotta have something awesome to show off. By putting a site loaded with content up, it shows the amount of thought I've put into TTOA (which is alot btw). Ok, so off to work... |

Hey everyone, we've got some shirts and other Reverie Entertainment accessories up for sale at CafePress - http://www.cafeshops.com/reverieshop Please help us keep the costs of running our site and such under control, until we get funding (we're almost there! ^_^ ) For those of you that don't know what Reverie Entertainment is, its a game company, currently making a fantasy RTS called Dawn of Fantasy (DoF). If you like War3, AoE II, almost any great RTS', then you will like Dawn of Fantasy. You can find the site here - http://www.reverieentertainment.net Iron_Ian |
