I don't think chopping up an ogre will produce a nurgling..... but I'm no modeller. A nurgling would need eyes, open wounds, sores, horns etc.

If we found a model we could work into the Greater Daemon of Nurgle then we could make a simpler, smaller version of it for the nurgling, couldn't we?

yeah like the ogre with some adjustments. Man I exite too easily. I think paul is right we should plan more carefully and not run of into every direction so for the next few post I would like to see a list of antagonist and the good guys so we can get some order in here and make it handleable

Well, if we chop an ogre's legs off, give it stumpy ones, take someone else's head (abom, maybe?) put it on the body so he's hunchbacked, and give him a death knight runeblade, theat could make a pretty efficient Great Unclean One. I'm gonna look at the tuts, and try again. Maybe I'll get it.

Yeah, you need to calm down, Jerre. The good news is I have begun terraining the zombie marshes(area around skavenblight).

I believe the Dogs of War generals go along these lines:

High Elf (almost certainly an exile)
Dark Elf (same again)
Dwarf (could be treasure hunter, exile, made homeless by Skaven or Goblins)
Human (any reason you can think of)
Ogre (wants money and food)
Orc (likes war, getting paid to fight is a dream job)

So, can we work out basic job/skill paths for each of these? For example:

Dwarf->Troll Slayer->Daemon Slayer
->Thunderer->Engineer
->Warrior->Ironbeard

That's not very good I admit, but is that what we're looking to do for each race? To give the player choice of how to use their hero?

I think a career system would be over my head at least so i suggest we make one hero 4 every race. and the different careers can be hireable units I suppose

It doesn't have to be complicated; just have a hero for each basic race and job (eg. High Elf Mage, High Elf Warrior, Dark Elf Mage, etc.), give them a sensible number of levels each and have the player's hero changed to a better one when his level, reputation or both are high enough.

OK HOWS THIS/
woops wrong button
Dwarf: -warrior, better warrior
- engineer, runesmith both with the option to become a slayer

Human: -soldier, Knight (order)
- mage, wizard both with the otion of becoming priest( or witchhunter)

Orc: -warrior, nob
-shaman, euh? both with some other option

wood elf: -archer,ranger(waywatcher)
- woodsman, beastmaster ( divine early wh unit btw)
both with option of wardancer

high elf: -citizen( spearman, archer), swordmaster or white lion
- citizen( Idunno), mage

plus I think there should be some way to use necromancy and such, seeing Tilean aren't afraid to use anyting

Yea, that sounds good....

As for the Necromancy question, we can look at what magic each race can normally use and make mages for each lore. So, a human wizard could go:

Apprentice->Fire Mage->Master Pyromancer
..............->Mage of the Heavens->Master Astromancer

and so on for the other lores.

Necromancy specifically could be an extra option for Death wizards, perhaps. Also, the lores used by the player may affect his reputation somehow; for example Shadow Wizards are disliked and mistrusted because of their magic.

Good news, guys! I can geoset! And modify models! Slightly. Here's a pic of my first geoset and model edit. I just need to work out how to get the texture on now.
