great cinematic, but 2nd time watching the 2nd part (not epilogue but actual thing) the 2nd dreadlord (the 1st one calls him herchima or somethin like that) participated in the battle vs the 5 captains (one really big in middle and then smaller middle and then small sides) and died. so there was no herchima to kill tomara yet the beams still come down and then there was only one dreadlord doin the thingy next to the stone. just wanted to let you kno. |

ok, fight scene in the halls room with the stone. big brown dreadlord which is called herchima by the big green dreadlord. normally (or at least this is how i think its supposed to work) the brown one just stands there and doesn't do anything until the part where the brown one kills tomara with the lasers. when i watched it for the 2nd time (and someone else posted this) he took part in battle against the captains that fight against the ud swarm that comes first (the 5 captains in a row, and right after they die valeria and luther fight.) anyway i noticed when it pans out the camera to see luther and valeria fighting the little animation that happens when a dreadlord gets killed (i assume this is because of a trigger that just kills everything right in that area). later when the green one tells herchima to kill tomara, it seems that herchima is already dead so no brown dreadlord walks up, but the little beams still came down and killed tomara. and then when the little scene with the stone came up there was just the green dreadlord casting a spell or whatever around the stone, and the other circle of power was empty. so to recap: brown dreadlord took place in battle against 5 captains dreadlord got killed (either by captain or by trigger) no dreadlord there to kill tomara but effect still occured only one dreadlord (the green one) at the end by the stone. get it now??? |

How can I know if nobody tells me? It never happened to me, but I'll check that out. |

that was probebly a problem with randomness of how close a target is to get involved in fighting, i mean that dreadlord attack because the gaurds were too close and as a natural game trigger he went to kill the gaurd, then he died so he wouldnt show up fotr that other part. ive watched it like 6 time now and somthing smaller but similar happened, watch it again and see if it happen's again! |

Well I've found part 3's complete storyline, and it should last much longer than the previous parts(~25 minutes) since I really want to release a special area for the next part (I've had such an innovative idea there) Currently got 5 minutes done, which is pretty much and introduction to part 3. Sadness reigns... |

Yea I know what's the problem. the dreadlord doesnt have enough room to move forward so he tries going around but enters a "kill units" region, so I'll only have to modify the collision size and it should be allright. |

Ima big fan of wc3 cinematic-only maps and i have lots of experience using the WE. For the past week or so i've been wanting to make an all-cinematic map, but i can't come up with even the simplest story emote_sweat.arrgg..gives me a headache.. If some 1 could come up with a good story or two, i think i could match, or even do better than DaemoNKillar here ^^. Well, its almost one in the morning... thx. (btw, i thot these 2 episodes or whateva were great!! keep up the good work!!)10/10 |

Guest | Some things I have always wanted to see in a cinematics map: 1. Those scenes where there is thick forest, and its dark, the camera low to the ground, inside the trees, zipping by over the landscape with some african safarri style music playing, then we get to a clearing with a battle. 2. Big spells. Im saying, you should go above and beyond antyhing ever seen. Id be cool to see a part of the world explode, or a huge cataclismic thing. 3. First person views. You have been doing it very well so far! Keep up the good work! Also, do I hint a lot of FF9 in the first map? Hmm... Heh, good music though. |
