I just found that the Point match Point boolean trigger call is UMSWE's , I will update my map with a non UMSWE version, however I recommend you to download UMSWE / WeU anyways, those are a great help

Edit: I bet you that UMSWE will work on 1.13 without problems

Sofar I haven't reached any real limitations with the normal editor for my wishes, and nowadays I mostly fiddle around with my ai's since I discovered this jass thing, which requires nothing more then notepad.

Maybe I'll check one of those progs out some day.

Huge amount of dooads also add to that though :)

Atm, my map is at 2.6 mb, reduced from 4 :P :) So it can be done

Anyway, Panto edited my last post with a link to my map, so test away. I guess I can't view how many people downloaded, but oh well.

Oh, and it's only a wee 1.4 megs.

Zachary,

is your heaven vs hell map the 2,6mb map? If it is dont you see probs to play it over bnet? Most ppl say max 1 mb for a multiplayer map.
We are working on an AoS map too atm and have the size problem too. Its hard to stay below 1 mb after heavy locker with custom skins and buttons.

Interesting point is we use some nearly similar spells on one of our chars. We have a Soulmaster hero that has collect souls and fear. Collect souls gathers souls from surrounding dead units but he uses the souls instead of mana. So the purpose is a bit different.
Fear works a bit like corrupt souls. The target looses control of the unit and the unit is running in the direction of its homebase.

I am really looking forward to your map. btw, do you get a forum soon again? Would like to see more of your map.

its a bit of changing values in the object editor and triggering.
Some custom spells are easy to do others need a lot of triggering. For example if you trigger a firebolt that hits one target and then explodes dealing damage to near units isnt hard to trigger. (for example make a firebolt spell, check the target of the issued order if order is firebolt and make a dummie unit that casts flamestrike on the point of the target with a bit delay).
Other spells like mass insanity where all units in an area attack random units (even allied) for some time or other here presented spells are a 'bit' harder to trigger.
