I just wanted to say something about the nimbus cloud. As far as i remeber (read: im not sure about this) only Goku can use instant transmission, and in the books at, he gives the nimbus cloud to Gohan (or Goten), so maybe you should add the cloud so the players that dont play Goku have a fast way to move across the map... just an idea

something else i dont know if you have thought of is to have piccolo with weighted clothing on and make it something like he takes it off to become more powerfull (ie Dbz legacy of goku 2 for gba) so its kinda like the saiyans becomeing SSJ or something ya know? i dont know just a thought if you arnt way ahead of me hehe = )

That would require multiple models.

There's no way I'd be making more models... it just takes forever, and having that many models in a map would go WAY over the b.net size limit, so it wouldnt be playable on battle.net.

I still cant get the shenron skins to work. The model works great, but the new skins I made for him only work in the modelling program, and don't work right in wc3, but I'll have that all fixed soon.

I need someone who is good at cinematics. I need a short 5 second or so cinematic that shows off shenron after being summoned, and then moves the camera a little bit out from his face so you can see some of his body before turning on the dialog box that contains the wishes. Is anyone good a cinematics and wanna help?

Jester-of-Death

I'm redoing the save/load system to work with the new experience system. I'll be editing the leaderboard a bit and I'm starting the creation of the various enemies. I'll start by giving all of them some basic abilities, but if anyone has any special requests for enemy abilities, I'd like to hear them now.

It's not just a matter of map size, its a matter of time. Doing something like that would also GREATLY increase the amount of time it takes me to complete this map. My terrainer returns tomorrow. If he is nearly complete with my terrain, the real work can begin. In a week or so, I could probably be beta testing this map with other users.

i was thinking the dragonball might be like a hot/cold system if your gettng close to a dragonball itll say something but when you get closer itll say something else and when you get farther itll say something else like (out of range of Dragonball)
but stops after a bit of getting closer in a small (not too small area) space so itd still be hard but not too hard thats just my idea

One problem.. triggers. Triggers are flooding my map. I haven't even got my terrain yet to work on the more complicated triggers, and I have about 1200 actions currently in my collection of triggers. Now if I did something like that, I would have to make a radar, that has multiple uses, and then disappears once you find the dragonball. Not good, because I would have to make another trigger to be able to decide if the dragonradar was used in finding the dragonball or not. Here's the current dragonradar trigger I'm using:

Code:
Radar
    Events
Unit - A unit Uses an item
    Conditions
(Item-type of (Item being manipulated)) Equal to Dragonball Radar
    Actions
Cinematic - Ping minimap for (All players) at (Position of (Random item in (Playable map area) matching ((Item-class of (Matching item)) Equal to Artifact))) for 1.00 seconds

Extremely simple trigger. All of the items in the class Artifact are non other than dragonballs, so it pings a random dragonball on the map for only one second. Now with a map size of 256x256, one second would only give you a rough idea of where the ball is, not an exact location. The radar is only one use, and then its gone, you'd have to use a marker on your computer monitor to remember the exact point of the minimap ping, and even in a 256x256, that ping location could be two or three screens radius.

Once again, simple trigger, won't get any simpler.. I love it :)

Edit: I do have one problem...
Cinematic - Ping minimap for (All players)

The trigger doesn't allow Pinging minimap for Owner of Triggering Unit. It does allow pinging minimap for all players matching condition. I'd have to work with the conditions a bit to make it ping the minimap for owner of triggering unit, however.

Try and make it Ping minimap for Player matching condition, like Owning an item or w.e its a long time since I last used World Editor, so Im not sure, but have a look at some of the Matchng Conditin ones or save the player to a variable or something...

Also, as an Enemy request, I think maybe Random thugs or something, if you give me a Gohan model or something, I can skin it to look like a thug or something......
