Guest | The demo's awesome! It is really neat. I'm playing as a lvl 18 Tauren Warrior right now. The new abilities system rules! |

Guest | 3 days. It's pretty easy and fun (I'm not talking about the real WoW, I'm talking about beantony's demo of his WoW (wish I had the real WoW)). Anywayz, Yeah this demo is a lot better than the first! |

Guest | Double Post Beantony: Can you make all the enemies lvl 1-5 only attack when you attack. Just make them owned by neutral passive and have a trigger: Event: A unit is attacked Condition: Triggering Unit is owned by neutral pasive Actions: Order Triggering unit to attack (the hero that the player controlls) |

Guest | Beantony: Is it okay if I post some screens of me playing the demo? More bugs: -- In the description for Mulgore, "harpies" is listed twice. -- Other spelling and grammatical errors in the descriptions. -- The "Reach Thunder Bluff" quest can be completed infinitely. -- The camera for the bridge to the Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar is too far way, so if the clipping is set to 2500, you can't see the bridge. Also, the bridge is too long for a camera such as the one you're using. I suggest you have the game set the camera to manual or standard view when crossing. -- If an NPC in your group dies, you sometimes can't get another one to join. (If you select an NPC, the dialog never shows.) If both NPCs die, you can only have one NPC grouped with you afterwards. (This bug was in the original release as well.) -- In the upper-righthand corner of VoT, there is a spot where all Alliance NPCs will stop. |

More bugs: -- In the description for Mulgore, "harpies" is listed twice. -- Other spelling and grammatical errors in the descriptions. ========================================== I didn't check the descriptions... and that wasn't my description :P I just copied 'em from goblin workshop site. -- The "Reach Thunder Bluff" quest can be completed infinitely. ========================================== yeah, I forgot to set a quest variable to 'done' :P -- The camera for the bridge to the Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar is too far way, so if the clipping is set to 2500, you can't see the bridge. Also, the bridge is too long for a camera such as the one you're using. I suggest you have the game set the camera to manual or standard view when crossing. ========================================== if the clipping is the problem, I can fix it. No, we can't set the cam to standard. Even the standard cam's height will follow the height of terrain's contour instead of bridge's. -- If an NPC in your group dies, you sometimes can't get another one to join. (If you select an NPC, the dialog never shows.) If both NPCs die, you can only have one NPC grouped with you afterwards. (This bug was in the original release as well.) ========================================== that was one of un-fix-able bug since the first demo, well... you've noticed that also. The 1st NPC will always stay on your team... xD can't do much about this. -- In the upper-righthand corner of VoT, there is a spot where all Alliance NPCs will stop.[/quote] ========================================== there's always a chance that an NPC will stop in a waypoint ^^ example: -if we have 8 waypoints, then there's 12.5% chance that NPC will stop. - if we have only 3 waypoints, then there's 33% chance that NPC will stop. in the VoT, horde NPCs have about 6-7 waypoints, while the alliance NPCs only have 3 waypoints, so... Alliance NPCs have higher chance to stop. This is not a bug, maybe a little bit annoying, but still can be tolerated, also... you won't play only in one map, right? when you move to another map, POOF!, they're gone ^_^ |

Guest | i've seen the tauren models nasrudin added (the links). Men, they really rule, but i'm connfused, are those models just pics of World of Warcraft models ore are they self made?¿ because thy look way to perfect! Nazghul_Master ;) :) |
| 05-16-2005, 12:41 PM | #1677 |
Guest | Self made. |

Guest | Beantony: Okay, there don't seem to be very many bugs in the game. You did a very good job on the triggers. Suggestion: When you learn a new spell have the Abilities: Item strength gain special effect on the origin of the character. They have a special effect like this in WoW when you learn a spell. (see attachments for a screen from WoW) Everyone: I'll put some screens in the attachments. |

anyway, thanks for the gameplay screenshots :P also, fets, would you like to take a 'job' ^^ as creeps balancer/creeps maker? :P I'm not too good at unit's balancing... (well, the truth is I'm lazy to do that thing -.-') |
| 05-16-2005, 03:02 PM | #1680 |
Guest | Okay, I'll try (I'm not that good at balancing either). Should I just edit your maps and put new creeps in them or make my own maps with creeps and then you can import them (the creeps) into your map? |
