Then maybe use a 20 points scale, like we French do. It works quite good.

Actually what you're saying is quite true: my grandparents were wine producers (it was low quality wine, we have this too). I've recently been in Scotland, had to feed on Cheddar, English poor imitation of French breads... I tell you my eyes and ears were happy in Scotland, but my tongue wasn't (well, actually, it was: they make so delicious smoked and grilled salmon steaks).
But I feel I'm slightly off topic here...
