Anyway, to get off roleplaying, do you have any idea when we can expect the next TToA?

Yeah Bloody will scare the piss out of me into losing my position of master cin. man when he releases The Hobbit. ^_^

I can say that TTOA 3 won't be done by the end of the summer. Unless I work 12 hours a day for the next month (not gonna happen). TTOA 3 is the most ambitious one yet, but if I get what I want done, it will make Part 1 and 2 look like melted cheese on the floor. o_O

So I'd say give or take 2-3 months for a 20 minute long cinematic ^_^
(Don't worry, there will be plenty of droolage for you in the meantime. Plus, thats just an estimate, its been a while since I've worked on cinematics, so I might get it done in like a month or so ^_^)

W00t! ROTD is out!

Hopefully I'll be able to finish the whole campaign in a day or two (so I don't take too much time off from TTOA). Things have been a bit slow lately, but as soon as I finish ROTD, I'll get back to work ^_^

And is RotD really that good? It has so many typos and stuff.

well i havent been hosing around this whole time ive been making 1 and two skins a day, maybe eventually they will look good enuf :D

but for now im skinning on request for a guy making a rpg.

I said that before my download was even done. So far IMO, ROTD is a major disappointment. :(

I'm not even going to bother downloading it.

I won't dl ROTD either. I don't have time to waste ..... (don't take it personially Darky, cuz I need to work on my stuff and so on.)

oh, thats too bad. well i really havent taken a big look yet at camapiagns and such.

I have yet to see a really good campaign.
But I've only seen 3.
RotD, an unknown-name campaign, and that Quest campaign.

Bad terrain, bad grammar, bad story, n stuff (This does not mean all of the campaigns have these.).

RotD unforunately hit the same problem as the Spider Queen. It was hyped up huge amounts, but the end result was poor. The models themselves are good, but could be 500% better. And many bugs\typos were missed.

The be honest, there are only a few maps/mods/campaigns that have impressed me.

These are:

(Released Stuff) ---
Creatures of the Night (Cool battles, and GFX, though the storyline was lacking. One of my three main inspirations for TTOA along with Lord of the Rings and Baldur's Gate.)
Cult of the Damned (Very good storyline, and the only cinematic besides The Lair of Murcielago that has voice acting that I know of)

(Unreleased Stuff) ---
Dawn of Chaos (I've played the mp beta and its awesome)
The Hobbit (Looks like we're in for a bunch of nice custom models and skins here)
Heart of Storms (Good storyline + art from what I've seen)
Forsaken Destiny (The storyline & models + skins I've seen so far are excellent)

Interesting that 3 of those are cinematics eh? ^_^
I think War3 is the best for cinematics (thus the reason I'm making TTOA). It shows off the models, skins, and terrain the best. And you can come to a point where there are literally no bugs. ^_^

BTW another good campaign is War of Corruption: Very well made campaign with great storyline and only a few custom skins but it doesn't really need to be over the top because it works how it is. Get it at corruption.worldofwar.net
