Guest | [quote=HexenLordX]I've began work on a Dragon Ball Z Multiplayer RPG map, and I should also admit its my first crack at a real map, but thats where the newbness ends. I've already learned to make a custom save/load feature that works PERFECT, without a single flaw. My leaderboard is based on Power Level, which as many of you know is used in the DBZ shows and a few games. Custom models will also appear in the new RPG, that is if I can get the converter to quit disfigure them when converting from .3ds to .mdx. Custom spells will all be used, as well as many custom features, and no these won't be a problem for me, or buggy, as I am an extremely fast learner. Here is what I hope to include in the map: Custom Hero Selection: -Goku -Gohan -Vegeta -Trunks -Picollo Custom Save/Load system (Completed) Models for the following characters: -Goku (completed) -Gohan -Vegeta (completed) -Trunks -Picollo Custom Ability Models: -Final Flash (Completed) -Kamehameha -Big Bang Attack Large 256x256 map with beautiful terrain (completed) Max Level 1000 (completed) Max Power Level 1 Billion (Completed) Custom Icons (near completion) Custom Sounds (Completed) Super Saiyan Transformations for all users.(completed) This is just a small list of overall features, other features will come and PLEASE post any ideas that you may have. Any skill requests that you've seen from the shows or other games, or any feature requests that you would like to see. Feel free to leave any comments you have, or any questions, I'll be glad to answer anything you want to know. And to the rest of the forums members, thanks for all your help. QUOTE] Yeah i know this might be a little late to tell you but um....how many playable characters will there be and if there isnt......could you add Krillin for all the Krillin fans out there? |

Guest | I just wanted to let you all know, that this dev team has been deliberately ripping content from a modification for half life. as a developer myself, i find this inexcusable and out of line. their invision host has been notified and their board will be absolved shortly. i can only apologize to you for the actions of the people that you followed. even though several of our comunity members have tried to warn them that action would be taken. if you want proof. take a look at any of the models. then take a look at www.esforces.com and www.esf-world.com the first link is to the mod homepage, the second is to an ESF resource site, where many fans of the mod post their creative works for people to download for use with ESF. no credit has been given, and all the models, aura's and sprites were taken without concent from the creators. and in case you want to get picky. they also took work from ESF sub mods, known as EVM and EEA. sorry all. just wanted to let you know... heres some more proof http://members.rogers.com/optimusprime/shenron.jpg http://members.rogers.com/optimusprime/goku.jpg http://members.rogers.com/optimusprime/vegeta.jpg http://members.rogers.com/optimusprime/gohan.jpg http://members.rogers.com/optimusprime/piccolo.jpg |

Guest | I say just ask ESF for permission to use their models, making sure you credit ESF's team, instead of calling it your own :P |

you realise of course that the team would never give such permission, and also, that the whole point is that they intended not to tell you, meaning that they lied and cheated you all into thinking they were something they arent. the hard work was done by others. and not them.. to top it all off HE DENIED RIPPING ON HIS FORUM. things are already in motion. both there forum and webservers have been notified. they are being shut down as we speak. |

Guest | dude i would like to say that u r a retard coz yeah the models look the same but also if u look closerly they r different in texture and in the shape of the models to so dude if hexens forums go down coz of this there will be alot of angry people after u coz i know fr a fact that hexen didnt rip those models off....... if u dont belive me then read this the max size for a b.net map is 4meg and most HL models r like 1meg each hexen has like over 20custom models in his map so u see he couldnt possibly have riped them off not to mention the lacrosatiens has animated all of hexens models. so dude think before u post in the future..... ill let hexen and the other staff members for this project deal with u from hear coz let me say u have gotten off lucky so far |

in that case, id like to introduce you to the real creator of the gohan model in a feww minutes... every modeler remembers their work, i know cos i am one. a highly respected one of the forums of polycount, cgtalk, cgchat, and 3dtotal. so next time, think before you post. i get payed to do this stuff, i know what im talking about. people(on the Warcraft III website) asked him what model editor he used and he said milkshape. Whats even worse, he said this 2 times: Quote: I've made a decision. Once I kick this project off full blast (after I convert and fix all of my models.. and I get someone to do a terrain for me) The following was in mention to the "grey shenron" Quote: yeah, me too. For some odd reason its grey instead of green. I dunno what happened, mustve been a problem when converting the files to .blp. But don't worry, I'll have it all fixed when time comes to release it. Quote: IF you want, you can reskin shenron for me, I can send you the skins and let you recolor or edit them. I'm kinda having trouble with his skins.. they are being pretty ***. Quote: I was converting the skins wrong. Quote: I use milkshape for all of my models, and for some odd reason, all of my animations make the model extremely distorted in wc3 |

The reason the models look like a different shape was because it was hard to get identical poses in HLMV. You'd have to be an idiot to not know that those models are identical. -------------------- http://members.rogers.com/optimusprime/shenron.jpg http://members.rogers.com/optimusprime/goku.jpg http://members.rogers.com/optimusprime/vegeta.jpg http://members.rogers.com/optimusprime/gohan.jpg http://members.rogers.com/optimusprime/piccolo.jpg |

Wow, I just looked at the first post and was rather impessed then decided to check the last and well… It looked kinda cool, but if HexenLord has stolen models, rather nice ones in fact, how authentic can the map be? How does one know all the triggers arn't stolen as well, although that isn't realy a great crime. I have seen this type of thing happen a few times before, they think it will be great to get the praise of others and just hope and assume they will not be found out. Also OptiPrime are you the real creator? If so gj on the models. If it was Haxen that did create them then I am sory for accusing you , but with the current evidence displayed against you things arn't looking good. "ill let hexen and the other staff members for this project deal with u from hear coz let me say u have gotten off lucky so far" That was rather a pore attempt of a threat, looking at the page count of 87 pages I think it is safe to say you have been rather attached to this project and with it's upcoming “Scheduled realise it comes as a rather big blow that this has happened. As much as it brings a tear to my eye war3 modding just isn't that big anymore yet half-life has managed to be huge. ESF has been copyrighted since 2001 whilst this RPG only started this year; I think OptiPrime and Gir will be able to conjure up a greater force and higher authority then HL and his staff. It looked like a great project on page one, and maybe it can still be one if you can manage to create of legally gather some models and I am sure it would win the admiration of the few war3 battle netters left as the genre is quite popular, I wish both sides good luck and hope it can be resolved. |
