I cant seem to make unit abilities turn into hero abilities, AND have levels. I click the boolean for heroes, but it doesnt create a field for heroes. Any ideas? PM Me if you have an idea. |

Ewwwwww great spells, whorable uses. first of all your spells are TOTALLY unusable in other maps (the way u triggered everything is rediculus in most cases, only one that i saw that was remotely possible is the guy with the floating elemental balls, at least in his map u can use it on multiple guys, and only like 1 trigger.) |

Stinky pooh.. do you really have to prove that you're an idiot? Your name already does it, you really shouldn't worry. If you dont understand the triggers for these spells, learn how. Dont whine how they wont work in most maps. Not everyone is too lazy to make a spell that takes more than 2 triggers. (Not saying grater is lazy for 2 triggers on elemental balls, that spell has all it needs in 2 triggers :foot: ) |

this is sorta old. I used UMSWE since there were missing triggers, but UMSWE was a great help. I have a updated verison of this, but not on this computer and its far away atm. This Map has Different StormBolt Look - Upgraded effects. Avatar - Uber. Must see. TimeStop - Stops an area in time. Creature Storage (Unload-Load) - You can have 3 units into your creature storage, they must be wounded and when unloading, it unloads all units. Charm Army - Isn't working. I deleted this in new version. In new version Has CoL (Circle of Lightning) - Summons Wisps of god and Infernals. Matrix Potion - Drink this potion and you will feel like Neo. Very Fast. And Everyone else will be Very slow. Freeze Attack - 10% chance of freezing the enemy in time. Permanent =) And a Stat System. Shows the Health/Mana/Str/Agility/Int/Lvl of selected unit and title is the units name. Future Plans Changing Creature Storage so the units you store goes into your inventory. =) Want to try to create a star with a circle around it in fire. Need to fix CoL. The units who are lightning need to fly or else they move wrong. This was done to express my skills. Im not done. Im seeing what i could do. Im just out of ideas. No pictures. sry. Requires UMSWE 3.8 or better to load. |

Here's a spell I made for a laugh. It took a hell of a lot of trig to make the pentaganal. The spell is called "Circle of Death", and it makes a rapidly expanding pentagonal, that kills everything in it's path. It's cast by that Warlock in the middle of the gnolls. |

first of all if u think im ignorant because of my name, you yourself must be a fool, ever heard "dont judge a book by its cover" 2nd, i actually never finished my post, so i deserve the verbal abuse, it was around 3 am, and i decided against it. third of all, i am completely aware that trigger spells are not supposed to be super easy to implement in a new map, but what i never got around to saying were that there were NUMEROUS retarted setups, and just wanted to give a few tips to spell creaters. ==================== big problem i saw in most spells ==================== it is retarted to have your spell use a preplaced unit for the spells start location. although this is an easy way to reference your unit for an RPG, you make it rediculusly hard to change map. instead make a variable unit and have your spell use that variable instead of your unit for the rest of triggers. otherwise when you want to use it on another unit you have to go back and change EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM to another unit. <<this was number 1 problem i saw in 2 or 3 spells i looked at. i could make a new spell almost as fast as changeing 50-100 refrences to a units point to make a pentagon that was the main problem i saw. the other is that many other similar annoyances like this were made, you are all obviously good programers, so use variables whenever possible, and have all the variables set and commented at the beginning of the first trigger in the series. EDIT: oh yea, one other thing, you guys know that u can have multiple events for a trigger right? theoretically u could put EVERY trigger in a map into 1 trigger with all the events, and just use if then elses to partition on which event set it off. im not by any means suggesting u do this for a whole map, but it would be MUCH easier from a copy paste from map to map standpoint if you put the spell learning, and all spell triggers in to one, and not have them in seperate triggers, so that u dont have to go back and forth between maps if you dont feel like wiping out all your current triggers :/ |
