Terrain contest!

Here is some city terrain. Made it for my cinematic a while ago. If i get the time ill make a scenic map and post some screenies.

And the Winner goes to.... Zurg

JaNa, try this one. Creat a folder named "UI" in ur wc3 folder and put this file there. But it may cause bugs (don't know what exactly :bgrun:)! Use it on ur own risk!

And about the terrains... F@ck! TheZaCrew! Zurg! That's f@cking awesome! And Dre too!

How do I know if it's working, how would you make that sharp terrain because it doesn't seem to be working

Ummmm.... You put it in the UI folder, then opened World Editor and u still can't raise the terrain that high? Wierd... :bgrun:

Yes, this is exacly what I did.

1. Went to My Computer, Then Local Disc (C:) Then Program Files Then Warcraft III.
2. Created file called UI.
3. Downloaded your file.
4. Put it in the UI folder.
5. Opened World Editor.
6. Clicked on the Hill Raise.
7. Clicked it about 50 times.
8. Stopped at it's usual height.

Sigh, Nothing works for me simply I guess.:( :saddened:

No, that's really odd.
And u using TFT or RoC?
And u can try to do it by urself. If u have any MPQ extractor just extract the file with that name (MiscData.txt) from ur war3.mpq (or war3x.mpq for TFT), open it with any text editor, find there [Terrain] and somewhere under it there should be fields MaxHeight=.... and MinHeight=-..... (some numbers instead of "......" :gsmile:) and also a line MaxSlope=.....
Just change MaxHeight, for example, to 4096, MinHeight to -4096 and MaxSlope to 87 or higher.
Oh, and put it in th UI folder again. ;)

If even that doesn't help... Well, then I don't know! :bgrun:

I use TFT. OK so, I open up MiscData.txt from war3x.mpq with a MPQ extractor. (BTW where can I get one...I'm feeling really lazy right now) Then I open it up with something like notepad and set those things to w/e. Then I put it in that UI folder. That it?
