I was going to post this a while earlier but decided against it because i havnt sketched myself in awhile. But this is out of hand.

id have something done, but im going balls out on the comic. i have another one of those fantasy group pics sitting in my sketch pad waiting for me to finalize it.

Darkangel has returned... and I am happy. We really need to get back on task in here though... but DA... take your time... we do NOT want to rush you.

Back to topic...this is me as 'my character'...drawn very very long time ago. Waaay back when I'm in residence...I have a set of these pasted all over my door.

Meet Doc. The concept is hard to grasp but hey I'll spare you all.

This is Doc. A mass of concentrated thought, power and magic, meaning that he/she is genderless to start with. The chains are power surpressors. The black one is "Doc" (dominate char), the white one is nameless (secondary perosnality). Since the two thinkpaths are very different the deity tends to do a 'split' and the two pops out as two seperate 'things'

To make things clear Doc's a 'he' and the white one's a 'she'. But basically they are the same genderless 'thing.'

Not your protagonist. The theory is 'in his favour only'.

The rumour is if you ran across Doc in the forest (the basic place I have going on at the moment) chances are you'll be in several chunks of varied sizes before you realize that you're actually dead and gone...which is actually no so bad considering the other options he might have.

His way of killing is very simple. See those chains? They serve a seconf purpose other than being a power seal. He can control at will. The idea is easy enough to grasp. You get tied in it, and then if he feels like it (which he most certainly will if you're bitchy) he tightens it. The rest if pretty self explainatory.

So basically this is Xmetallium had she been inside that forest thingy...any questions?

... The action pose is really nice... especially the foreshortening on the capture unit. Good job X. I like Jac's angry face... it is teh funnay.

Don't take this the wrong way... but I think you could have done better on the energy streams...

which reminds me of that quote: "Don't cross the streams!"... it was Egon.. but who played him? must watch movie again... and poor Deathmagus... he can't find anything.

oh yeah... WHEN YOU POST ABOUT SOMEONE'S ART... SAY SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE!!! NOT JUST "oh, its ok/good/hot/etc." IT REALLY DEVALUES THE WORK IF THE COMMENTS ARE JUST ONE WORD!!!

as for the new pic... I'd assume Final Fantasy... but I never liked that series... so me=lost.

The pic itself is quite nice... I really like how you drew yourself looming over everyone... and the angel is very nice... and symmetrical...
