Well you'll be pleased to know i picked the crude materia system up and began to seriously work on it... you'll be unpleased to know i have hit a large snag...i completely forgot that materia gain AP and upgrades....ill try to work around it but if you can awnser this ectreemly hard ot explain questino that would be great.... When you pick up a piece of materia it is actually deleted and is stored as an interger....is there any way of giving a specific interger its own interger to records its AP....? I THINK i know how but hwn it comes to throwing away the materia or selling it....im screwed ![]() |

(Zazzadar) If I understand right: When you pick up the item there should be a trigger that looks like this: Event Unit - A unit aquires an item Conditions Actions Item - Remove (item being manipulated) If ((Item-type of (item being manipulated) equal to (Claws of Attack +15)Then do Set ItemType[7] = (Item being manipulated) Else Do nothing) Then when the AP raises: Event (Event is based on the battle system) Condition Action Set ItemTypeAP[7] = GainedEXP / 5 EDIT: here it is!! |

Oh yeh i guess that would wok *slaps self of head*(bare in mnd my intelligence is limitre lmao) I would love to take a look at sov_marksman's system and see what i can do with it or if there are any ideas i can use. |

My new computer parts arrived today and soon i'll be gone to put them in. Everything that i want to keep is on my bros. comp. (Zazzadar) How is that materia system going, i need to figure out how to combine it with the battle system. |

Hmm not very well actually skrik. When i thought of it it was simple.....but now im starting to think my idea is impossible. Well...everything eventually would have ended up as variables whcih would notmally be "Give unit ability" triggers but will be changed for battle system.... But like i said im having alot of trouble with it and perhaps its nmroe work than its worth. Ill try and think of a new idea..... |

Right now im not writing on my own cpu. My computer is malfunctioning and i dont know whats wrong, will search for a way to fix it. It will take atleast 1 more week before it works. |
