Tauren Race

Well, Im good at edits, took a summer course on photoshop, helped a lot, I havent tried to do one from scratch.

Ill redo the fissure one asap, but right now I have to do an essay.

The change to slam is that teh third "finger" was taken out and colored over, so now its more like a tauren arm getting covered by rock. (thats what I think anyway 8))

No rush, Runemane. Really. The fate of the world does not rest on the project. Just the fate of our fun.


Notice:

I am working on Thaumaturge's spells right now. I will release the map, for viewing, but the Thaumaturge model will be cut to prevent stealing. Those of you who 'join' the project will be able to get the 'modeled' map via email. I don't have the model yet, but as soon as it's skinned I'm pretty sure TiJiL will have no aversion to sending to me. Just a heads up.

Just so you know Bhav, a fissure kind of exactly looks like a volcano eruption, cept not on such a huge scale as an eruption

Good job so far, Runemane. Here are new critiques:

1. Dirt under the light green grass should be red.

2. Red stones look perfect, red cliff is not red enough. And please get rid of the grassiness, if possible, on the red cliffs.

You should try to do some icons from scratch. You've done an excellent job on these edits, I'd like to see what your capabilities are from scratch.

From scratch is much harder for me to do, but Ill do one tomorrow after I get back from school. I try to base most of what I do from scratch off of a real image, but its making it look cartoonish and not real thats hard.

TiJiL, I would like to try skinning the Model, see if I can do it.

Ok, time to get an outsiders opinoin on this. Side note, i dont like this game and most probably never will, but bear with me.

Im always sceptical of new races cuz they usualy never get made (looks at runemane) but if you make it work, more power to you.

Story line sounds a bit nutty, but all blizard story lines do, and the icons are kinda just color treated pics, witch is fine if thats what you want.

sure im stating the obvious but ill give the preproduction rating a 8 just because uve made so much progres.

TiJiL, i think we should setup an mIRC channel on Wc3campaign's server, i asked Runemane to send you a PM[i would have done it myself - but at that time i was busy with my own campaign]

theres a headline on the main page that says where to get mIRC and how to join the wc3c server, i dont really remember myself[had it for too long :P]

Yeah, we could use a channel like that. Also, when we get a website, I'm sure we can get a chat applet put in there.
