Skinning Challenge Thread

This is my entry for the mobster competition...

Stinky Joey - there's normally flies surrounding him, but they dont do the animations in wc3viewer anyway...

well, he picked that them, i'll post my progress for now, in a few minutes.

And btw, any ideas guys? i just don't know what to add to him :\

And yeah, i konw, that skull on his back looks kinda crapy, but i did it on purpuse, it's like he did it him self ^_^

there's two going on... there's a mafia one (horusrogue's) and a pirate one (garith's). i guess everyone forgot the mafia one... so lemme refresh your memory

of course i know there's a pirate competition going on, i wouldnt make a mob skin for nothing.

edit: i dont think ill enter the pirate competition cuz almost all the skins are mirrored on the unwrap. so that gets rid of all the cool parrots, peglegs, and eyepatches cuz there is 2 on the model or none. you cant make one eyepatch on any model. i was thinking of doing the sea giant or ghoul... but no...

Well you can try the one headed ogre (hmmm, that's an idea, i think ill do that) , but anywayz, whos else is in the pirate competition?
and btw, what do you think of my skin?

The body looks great, but the head is iffy. The eyes are messed up, the beard and hair could use a lil work but its a good start.

that is a good idea with the ogre cuz he has only one eye... i wanna see what you come up with.

Well! its good 2 see.. 3 entrants in my comp! im sorry i couldent do it aswell but i have/had things to do. anyway keep it up! that skin is wikid reaper! i actually might be able to use that in a compaign im making... hmmm.. ill PM you about it if i decide to. anyway! keep skinnin! Ogre idea sounds Ripped!

lol, well.. i dont really see that as a full pirate. i mean, i'd look at that and say, nice! a buff citizen, but not: Wow! what a great pirate.

Oh! and by Ripped i mean.. err.. Buff. strong.. the could-take-Arnold-Schwartzanegger-out-in-1-hit thing. nice! oh! and if i'd use that skin.. any chance of taking that skull on his back away and putting a Hyroglyph there? something kool (Im doing a desert map.. very cool stuff (See the sig))

ok, i think i can do that rune\hyrogliph stuff, and what color should the rune\hyrogliph be? (gold, blue, purple, ect.)

not bad, just make the eyes a little bigger, and her lips a lil less red ^_^
