DEMONKILLER I CANT OPEN IT. Im not sure if its the host at the website or me. I do have an advanced editor that i downloaded could that b messing it up. I read like 5 pages of replies to see if this problem had come up. sometimes it says that the file could not be opened after it had almost completly loaded the map (world editor was opened). However when i did download the first part i could get it open. I cliked test map it opend war3 and then didnt do anything after main menu! HELP!! am i doing something wrong?!?!?!

it's most likely protected so people cant steal it...

exactly, you can only open it using war3 to view it, but not modify it using World editor. Cool uh? :)

Kharma: Don't worry, you'll see your name in the ending credits of the movie once it is finished. Cause of your help, I'm makin an EXTREMELY innovative landscape, I can't wait to show it off. Alright a hint: Underground.... =)

Oh I almost forgot, I scanned the world map I've drawn for COTN, it's not completed yet so I'm working on it with photoshop, should be up tomorrow.

uhhhh....didn't i kinda come up with that...aligning the arches together and all so they look like a hallway or tunnel or something??....i've never seen anyone do it besides me, till now ofcourse..i just feel kinda left out of this..

... so does that mean ur "stealing" this "innovative" idea from me?


Also, since u wont let ne one physically help u with the terrain and doodad placement and such...just tell me what ur trying to make (example: majestic looking gate entrance, cities, caverns..etc..) just say something about it...and ill go make it in WE and post a pic, just to give ideas...i mean, even if ur telling us whats kinda in it by doing that, theres what 10 ppl who read these posts...out of the hundreds who will watch it..IMO, wen ur like 99% done, lend it out to a few ppl and ask for ideas of improvement on terrain and doodads...in turn,it would make it just that much better..

oh well...just some advise to make the movie better...


random hint: use "home" "end" "page up" and "page down" to change the size and shape of the doodads.

Well I had already tried to do the same thing with arches, except I couldn't align them so close to each other. The thing is, I used stone arches to make a cavern looking landscape instead of a castle, it gives a somewhat different result. I don't believe I copied that idea from you, I only improved the way it looked using your technique. But I believe I should thank you too for coming up with that subject, you were of great help.

I might lend it when it's almost over too, only need to see if it is really necessary



DP.Mephisto: it does come from "Last of the mohicans", I use random music for pretty much all I do...
