How about using Arabic music when Artania and Vlaeria are travelling through the desert, and then they will stop at some point, look at each other, and try to keep each other's spirits up.

how about letting Artania and Vlaeria meet a Goblin mercant out in the desert and buy some thing/weapons from him....
etc. they could buy a steam tank ( and use it like a car ) or something a littel cooler ;)

Or maybe they will fly on some flying beast thing that they will hire in a small desert-folk village, and fly on it with the "King of the Valkyries" playing?

was just looking at all the wallpapers and saw at the text : The Creatures Of The Night and i began thinking....in many movies the name of the movie have something to do with the story so how about this...

The Humans have allied with The Ancient Elven Sentinel but the undead/de(a)mons are still kicking there ***' so the Ancient Elven hero tells the other heros something about an ancient race or something called Creatures Of The Night but The Creatures Of The Night have been inprisoned for some reason so the hero party has to free them to save the world....

Or how about having a Nightblade, with the energies of Pure Light and Pure Darkness, which can summon the half-spirits, whose name could be translated from Elvish as Creatures of the Night? And these Half-Spirits are like large spirity dark-blue humans. And they follow Thomas as the Chosen of the Night, and these Half Spirits have created the Spiritual Stones, so they can easily imprison the Chaos Legionaires in these again, but only the Chosen of the Night, with the Nightsword can kill Vul'methor. So while the Ancient Elf/Human/Half-Spirit army is holding the enemy off, Thomas and a few volunteers have to sneak throug to Vul'methor, since he can easily bring the Legionaires back into the real world.

Or an unrelated an idea. This is based of the "crytal world" an idea. How about having these stones as kind of waygates to other worlds, where the Chaos Legionaires were kept? And these worlds are populated by these Hell Minions, who were corrupted Stone Guards, that let the Chaos Legionaires invade the "real" world.

since Thomas doesn't have a last name u could make a naming contest....J/K
but maybe he could be the son of some ancient hero that saved the Ancients elves once ( saved them from some big bad creeps or something ) and when Thomas' father died ( just after Thomas was born ) he gave Thomas some jewel maybe the last spiritual stone but Thomas left it in he's house but algor knows all this so he sends an army of living dead after the last stone so the rest of Thomas' famly is in great danger....it's just some kinda power full gem...

Or maybe Thomas is a decendant of a Legionaire, so Vul'methor wants to make him a Legionaire officer, as he is used to this world, and the demon-blood inside him can be activated rather easily. Come-on, we need to find a reason for Vul'methor not killing Thomas! I mean oh come on! Didn't he read the "100 things I will do if I ever becoem an Evil Overlord"?! Or at least my top secret guide-book "World-wide Domination for Palpatine and Sauron rip-offs"?!!!! I mean, why let the comic relief guy/main hero live?!

maybe Thomas holds the key to opening up the crystal, that's why Vul'Methor is prisoning him and not killing him. but that will eventually lead to his downfall... :)

IT would be cool to see a Demon Hunter with blades like Das said pure darkness and pure light. Artania and Vlaeria could find a lybrari and the lybrarian could tell them about this Legendary Demon Hunter that has great power. Then they meet him in the forst and bring him to the tree that can read minds.
