Actually, I didn't quite figure it out what the statistics should be (the scout will be fast, but weak otherwise). Elves have several units not mentioned yet (the above Scout, Wood Elf Nature Conjurer and possibly a Mounted Archer, if I get the model working, to name a few). Many of those units are mission specific (say, if you join one fraction, you'll be able to make mounted units, but won't have powerful ranged ones, while the another fraction may have powerful ranged units (like a Warcraft II style Ranger upgrade that will make your archers more powerful), but no mounted units. |

I have the details, but I don't have anything to post (except perhaps that the site's up) right now. I'm learning how to use 3d Studio right now (that's the only program that can use Warcraft Art Tools :)) so I can start chewing out original models (need a troll destroyer, lol) |

I dunno if someone put this up or so but i have couple questions...(Any staff memebrs plz answer) 1. Are you guys going to make custom cursor and interface UI's? Or are you just going to use human cursor and stuff? 2. By looking at the screenshots, i foundout there are going to be HUGE battles... Are you guys going to put food limit higher like 125? 3. Are you guys going to make a "Adavanced Structure" button like SC/BR and wc2? It would be kinda cool to make a profesional one. 4. Do u guys think this campaigns going to be a GREAT success? Only the Preview is available at this time. The campaign will be launched in one piece, because the third mission (wich is very important to the story) already contains many units and buildings that still need to be made. Quote:
1. I've been thinking about custom interface, but the idea was abandoned for now. Perhaps, if time allows, the interface will be made, perhaps not. I don't have any straight answer right now. 2. No, food limit stays at 100 (as in Frozen Throne). Most of the large battles are part of the late game where you have allies (Elven and depending on your previous actions even non-Elven) to help you. So basically, you'll be leading two or three armies (meaning you'll have a food limit of 200 or 300), while the enemy will have similar structure. It may happen that an option will be added to either lead these armies yourself or allow computer to manage them (or lock this option to the selected difficulty level) 3. Right now the advanced structure button is not required. The only "race" that might get an option similar to that, are the Wood Elves. If I can get their structural system to work, the Wood Elf workers will build houses like this: First they will plant a tree seed, that will grow into a large tree. These trees will work as farms for the Wood Elves. Then, they will be able to build houses on these trees only just like normal workers can build structures. That way the Farm-tree will become a City Hall/Barracks/Defense Tower of the Wood Elves (not as a building, but as a concept, those structures will actually be part of the great trees). I'm not sure if any other version of "advanced structure" button will be required. 4. I don't know. And to tell you the truth, this campaign is just a way to say a story, to express my fantasy. If it's a success, cool, but the campaign's main purpose is to expand my own abilities and to have fun doing it. |

I was wondering, is it a bug in only mine or happens it some1 else?... Maybe i screwed up again... anyway when some1s say something in the campaing, and its not a ´cinematic, i cant see any text BUT the text appers in the log so i can still get whats going on. Plzz answer me i wanna know, and 1 thing more, when will we have uppdates on the page? U wont use another background scene, right? Might be hard to edit... ah anyway it dosent look so great with a NE but then, what do i know... U know it was realy hard batteling the undead on the second mission, but i did it after what? five trys. like the boat BTW:...: |
