Hey dude glad to see you're back ^_^ Get on MSN sometime and I'll talk with about all the latest stuff. Might be needing your help a bit with some storyline factors again (right now I'm organizing all that crap... still :-/ ) I'm kinda holding off until this weekend to work on TTOA, in which I will hopefully work on it all day both Saturday and Sunday. Been trying to take a bit of a break from the Warcraft Engine lately, so I've been fooling around in UT - Iron_Ian |

Umm... I don't want to disturb this "intiiime" conversation, but I just want to ask about the progress in part 3... ^_^ And... Will screenshots from part 3 be posted soon? ![]() You don't have to tell me with an accuracy of nanoseconds ^_^ Percentages and exact dates with accuracy of two decimal places is fine um... at least acceptable... |

Ian doesn't believe in release dates and as far as i know he has some skins and stuff put together along with storyline, it's been slow i guess. GOT friday off! and a easy practice today! |

I really f***ing hate to say this... but I've paused TTOA again. I've taken so many little "fake" breaks where I pretend to slow down, but really I'm still doing as little work as I had been when I was "working". Right now I've just lost interest... I need to get my mind way off TTOA for a while. I was talking to [Death] a few days ago about me be so unorganized with TTOA. He recommended I try to take my mind off of it, do something else until you get sick of that, then you can come back to TTOA with a new attitude. And you know what, hes right. I've gotten very very interested in mapping for the original UT game, making single player maps based on the original Unreal's storyline. Mapping for FPS again is very new and exciting, and I loved Unreals storyline (best FPS there ever will be IMO). So thats my break... I'm not doing enough on TTOA... if I map for Unreal, at least maybe I'll get something done (I've been doing a lot lately, making some new weapons, working on a story idea, and mapping). I don't want to throw TTOA out the window... not even cancel it... I just need a TRUE break. I've been so stupid all this time to just try to slow down the pace... thats not what works... what works is a real break from it. I guess I just got caught up in the fact that I didn't want to let you guys down... when in the end it really just hurt all of us more... Sorry guys, but I'll try to come back soon... I just need a real break for once... time to think not about Warcraft III, but just try to do some other things on the comp. School starts up again soon, and I'm taking a creative writing class. You can bet I'll write some stuff for TTOA for that class (that'll help me pull myself out of mis-organization). I hope you guys can understand... - Iron_Ian PS - DO NOT bother me about TTOA, dont' press me to get back to it, don't annoy me. That only does one thing - make me question if my mapping for Unreal is useful... then I'll lose interest in that, and I'll really be pissed at myself. If that happens I can assuredly promise the death of TTOA, so just leave me alone about TTOA for a while, I can't take it off my mind if others are bringing it up constantly. Posting here is fine lol - encouragement, kind words, just don't try to bully/annoy me into working on TTOA more. -- this is mainly just for people on AIM/MSN Messenger. I can avoid reading the forum if I have to, but for convos I can't. Edit: Oh and hey TGN, welcome to Wc3c, glad to see you registering |

Death is right. A big break (like one month or two) is the best solution in this case. Just be sure to make it then ;) gg hf |

The creative things you do in UT boost your creative pockets in your mind. Therefore 'the tale of you know who' will be better because of you know what so, therefore revealing that nothing is without reason and all you do and have done are for a change, great or fel. |

I just got back from seeing "Hero" and all I got to say is......Damn thats Deep! Nobody has the riight to say that movie was boring, lame, or weak. U can say its confusing and strange but thats all. Iron, i recommend u see it cause it completely opens a new ideal of warrior movies. The principal, morals....if u understand it the idea just blows u away. Also the fighting is real great. |

Hey everyone, if you haven't seen "Paycheck" yet, go rent a copy of it! Its a very interesting movie, with a pretty sweet storyline, and some sweet SFX + Action as well. Its basically about a guy who gets his memory wiped, but he leaves himself several items before that happens. Once his memory is wiped, he tries to figure out why he left those items for himself to find. Its a lot more complicated then that, but I won't say anymore, the tension is dependent on "not knowing". In other news, Unreal mapping goes... okay I guess... I'm not over-enthuastic but I'm having a bit of fun doing some stuff. I think the main reason that I'm lacking enthusiasm is that school starts Monday... so I have tommorow, and then BLAM! Back to sucky school shiet. Hell at least I'll get to see some friends I haven't seen for 3 months... Anyway, I'm trying to a get a little idea fired up for an Unreal map or small series of maps just to give me a goal and something to accomplish. It might fall apart, but heh at least I will have tried. With school starting, I'll have other things I can do to take my mind off TTOA if need be. Rent Paycheck if you haven't already seen it ;) I'm off to browse the forums and other stuff, - Iron_Ian |

I guess we "have" Paycheck yet i never noticed it to watch it, well looks like i'll have to eventually. And ian are you gonna upload those UT maps somewhere? Because i have a friend that would love to play them. Also im gonna show him ttoa today, yet another will enjoy it. I hope you have a "good" first day at school since mine was almost completely lousy. Gonna be playing some halo and stuff today/this afternoon. But if your on tonight, i sorta wanna talk to yah. |

Not UT gameplay type. Unreal Single Player using Unreal Tournament. And theres nothing done enough to be playable. If you're looking for maps though, go to my dads UT maps site - http://hoint.beyondunreal.com - Iron_Ian |

School isn't bad so far this year. I've got a lot of friends in my classes, and most of my teachers are pretty cool. Some of my classes really just... rock. I'm taking creative writing, and its a very fun class to discuss things in (theres actually people in there who like LOTR!! W00t thought those didn't exist, except for over the net :8 ). My math class kinda sucks, but at least I have a smart friend in there whos a geeker like me ^_^. Anyway, haven't done much of mention in the last few days... well I did play System Shock 2 in one day and 2 school nights. I have no feggin' clue why I never finished it before (had the game for a year or two now), but it was fun as hell to play. ^_^ SS2 gave me some inspiration for building a Starship in Unreal, so that'll probably be my "break from TTOA project". Oh yeah last thing, I can get to Wc3c from School, so when I have free time there, I might be online a bit. Though I'm not sure if I want to log in... cookies might be just a bit fecked on the school computers (you can't clear the history for one thing). - Ian |

Yea, i thought you were so bored as to type all of that yourself, Really i thought you were gonna start msging in binary.......11010101010011110 First day of school i thought math/ geometry/ whatever you wish to call it was gona suck like the scent which would erupt if Master Chief (halo) were to pull off his mjolnir armor in a small 5x5 room after spending two weeks running from attacking covenant, but alas it's easy and the ppl in it are quite friendly. |

Hey guys, got some good news. I'm building a new comp ^_^ I ordered a copy of Windows XP Pro & a Seagate 160 GB IDE 7200 RPM Harddrive on Monday. Newegg was having a Labor Day sale and was selling XP for $137.00! The harddrive was $102, pretty good price for a good Harddrive. The comp I'm building is going to be an Athlon, a 64-bit 3400+. I haven't decided on what processor to get though. It will be a 3400+ for sure, but I don't know wheter I want to spend 100 bucks more to get 1 mb of L2 Cache, or just get the $290 one with 512 k L2 Cache. - Iron_Ian |
