can i remind you that the fact your remaking ff7 is enough for square to slap a C&D note on you, but if you use their in-game FMV sequences, you WILL be sued. dont take this as a light warning, it WILL happen.

Dont worry i dont actually want to. The thing is if we can get it to work we can do this (whcih wont get us sued lol)

Use really detailed high pollie super models and make a prerecorded movie cinematic or make some other kind of variation (make a kind of cartoon strip if we have any good artists around)

Basically were (i'm) only using a movie from FF7 as a *****T-E-S-T***** to see if we can get a movie to play in warcraft i coudl use an episode of pokemon or a cat food commerical hec kim just using it as a TEST. as for the real thing we can make our own FF7 movie or movie variation.

just to clear anything pu IM NOT GONNA USE THE FF7 MOVIES IN THE REAL THING.

just the first fact, okay... squaresoft WONT sue us, they might ask us who put thoose movies out on the net and where we downloaded them, if that were use... well prolly get sued... but in this case it aint us.

Second of all, we are trying to make a so-what called revolution within map making here, if we can make a movie like this, well then heck! we could make our own REAL good movies on wc3...

getting sued we wont just to make that cleared.

ps. i dont actually think they woudl sue for making a mod unless we charge people to play it. using copyrighted matirial models/movies we will get sued most probobaly... but as we are not a company it wont be much ^_^ lmao

lol, okay noone can copyright names of characters, nor they can copyrigth characters background story.... not even how they look! as long as you dont extract them from game, gir i dont even think you have a clue about what you are talking about.....

actually they can, since the origional concept is the intelectual property of square, and since the ressurection project was a remake of the game where they modeled everything in 3d (the origional was 2d), they used the origional concept ideas and storyline, ie. the intelectual property of square.

thats why they were shut down, im not saying itll happen here, but it looks like your doing much the same thing.
