i thought this up a while back

player skips cinematic(esc)
hero within 100 of vehicle
invehicle=false
turn heros collision off
turn on trigger 2
give vehicle to owner of hero
set invehicle=true

trigger 2
every .05 seconds of game time
move hero to position of vehicle


trigger 3
player skips cinematic(esc)
invehicle=true
turn off trigger 2
turn collision for hero on


i dont know exactly a 2 person vehicle would work, but itd be something similar with a few more variables tossed in to make one player a gunner that would be tight

Sorry Alex, its not that simple, I spent about an hour earlier today trying to get it to work, it really is harder then it sounds, and you need to be able to allow each player to get in, and with the warthog, you need to let them get in front or back

hmmm.... i could be a terrainer and i could fan fics on the level... if u need it. or i could create cutscenes.

Sorry I havent logged on in awhile today. Okay to update everyone:

In order to make the campaign an actual campaign, I think it would be good to have an interface, such as the one on the rise of krill or the new race mod. Second, The new spells, wont be spells exactly. Maybe armor upgrades for the mjolner armor, and he could change appearance. Items to pick up would include new guns, ammo, and grenades. The Spartans would be able to get in the vehicles and stuff etc. I would like to recreate the campaign of the game later, but to start, I want to do something brand new.

But thats where the skinners and modelers come in. I need people that know halo well enough to make a warthog model, a spartan model, a pelican dropship, a covenant dropship, a covenant elite, a grunt, a jackal w/ shield, a hunter, and some marines. There are some other things, but I need some people to get going with that stuff if possible. I also need people that can do new spells and items. I'm not sure that the chief will level up or not, I think he could, but I havent figured that out yet.

First and foremost is to get a model of the MC, or even just a Spartan. If you can make a model of any of those items, (also weapons) email or pm me.

Oh and if you need source material, halo.bungie.org or bungie.com

If you have story questions, ask me. I know pretty much everything you can know about halo. (I dont mean to brag but I'm obsessed) I will be doing map design, story, and music stuff. Thanks for all that are interested.

Multiplayer will be implemented once the first campaign is finished. My biggest thing is to get an actual model for the spartans. If we can have SOMETHING, then we might get hosted here. That would be excellent. I just need some people to get interested. If you guys have friends, or anyone who wants to help, ask them. I think that multiplayer would be really cool, if that would be possible. I dont know how we could do it with our own campaign screen without our own server. I'm open to suggestions.

that was wierd, when i tried that weapons map, i couldnt actually equip anything. whenever i selected an item on the menu, it went to a window that said "Equip?" and the only option was cancel.

Frosty--- you have to pick up the weapon first, Sorry I didnt explain, but, kill one of the weapons, then you have it.

Reclaimer--- Your going to make weapons items? Hows that gonna work? BTW, am I hired?

i made weapons items in my RPG (check it out on my thread "treacherous lands team gathering) i have non-perishable items that summon units, and then i have triggers that check to see if certain units are summoned and then deletes them and replaces the unit you have with a unit equipped with the right weapon. then you can select that new unit by using selection-select lastreplaced unit.

Sweet thx, so uh... hows the weapon system gonna be based on Items? Is it gonna be like Frostys weapon map? or is it gonna be all variables or sumthin?

I think that we could do it based on variables if we find someone that knows what they are doing. I want the stuff to get picked up. And I want to stay pretty true to the game, I.E. you can only carry 2 weapons at a time. But I dont exactly know how you will be able to switch them out and pick them up, I am not good in that area of editing.
