The screenshot Is the Orb of Ice spell when it reaches its destination and 'explodes' on nearby enemies (When I mean explode, I meant that I gave the Orb of Ice the barrage ability (looks sweet))

What is JASS? Btw... alot of it is apparently bad. I had a map and it overloaded and kicked me out because of too many JASS/Spell cycles.

JASS is the programming language of WC3 triggers (Convert to Custom Text). It's not "bad", but if you don't know how to use it correctly, things can turn out bad... If you can use it correctly, though, there are a ton of really neat things you're able to do...

Updated version of my map with, amazon, sorceress, flame magis, and frost magis is near the end of the thread.

That's a cool spell Mr. Euthanasia and very advanced too, looking forward for your project release!

Addition to rules:
Rule 4: It is perfectly fine to make custom heros/units that have ALL custom spells
Rule 5: There is a pointing system that I will use. The winner will get a cool sig pict thats not too large, if I manage to get animation shop and psp 8.

Pointing system:
Pts How you get the pts.
0-5 How much I like the spells.
0-2 How practical they are
0-4 How flashy they are
3 Non-wc3 icon(s)
3 CUSTOM icon(s) you can add the one above to the pts cuzz custom wont be wc3, so it will be 6 pts for custom in total!
-1 If they have a glitch
-2 If they are buggy/have a bad "field"
-3 If they have a bad description (needs to be spelled correctly)
2 If they have a great description
3 For a non-wc3 sound
3 For a extra hero(s)

You only can get one of these
1 Point for having 2 spells
3 Points for having 5 spells
4 Points for having 7 spells
6 Points for having 10 spells

Plus finnaly another 2-4 points for a good-terrained map.

Max you can get is 35 points.

Id say 22 pts would be an A+

And 13 would hold your average C

Oh, so we need to put all our spells in one map? I will be updating mine shortly then with some new spells.

Also did Baal cold missiles knock you back? I need to know so that if this is the case I can add it, making the spell frigid wake knock back the units it hits. Does anyone know?

On a last note, how long do I have to add any spells? Are we on a time constraint or is it free?

I very clearly remember Baal's Frost 'V's having this annoying knockback which happens to knock you back into the attack you just got hit by.

If you want to mimic the true attack, you gotta include that knockback.

Please note that these triggers work fine for the map they are in but if any of you want to use them they will need some changing and cleaning up. I did most of them simple as possible but if you still can't figure it out and need one just send me a message and I will be happy to fix it for you. :D

No you dont but you will be better off putting them all into one map, for the spell count points.

You have as long as you want, but the contest part will no longer grade you after the final scores

Free EXEPT for the final score tally. Put your highest-graded map on before the 4th grade, and you will do fine. I put the best one on the final grading tally.

YOU CAN MAKE MORE THAN ONE SPELL MAP

New types of annonymous scoring:
Pts For why?
1 pt For each spell that uses triggers
3 pts For each spell that uses JASS

This will take effect next grading. Now you know how the grading works, so you can get more points.
