Good map. If you like Hero Arenas, this is up there in the top 5 easy, or top 3.

I don't play Arena's really, but this and Throwbots are probably the best I've seen IMO, and this has a better training system.

I picked the infernal tank guy and won the first duel and everyone quit.. he pwns.

Throwbot got the training idea from my old map, Hardcore Arena.

Thanks for giving the map a shot even though you dont like this genre. I appreciate it. :D

This is very nice, but the handicap thing... I just played, and we were rocking their butts (team 2) then after a bit, they got handicap and we got trashed like hell! Also! You write that orbs don't stack...well, SUPRISE, they do!

One had slow, fire and +10 orb thing....damn ...

OTHERWISE, a very good Arena, very refreshing, new thinking, actually very good, but I can only vote ok...so..ok :P

Orbs don't stack. you might recieve the damage bonus from another orb but thats it. Try buying an orb of corruption and a cold orb, see what happens. :D

This has SEVERE balance issues. I had an Ice Revenant, about 6 undead minions and a 100 dmg Kil'Jaeden, and got my *** KICKED by a Blademaster.

Take out agility heroes or mod their skills they are way too unbalanced.

Kil'Jaeden needs either completely changed skills or a finger of death that can target heroes.

Warden is rigged too, those gay spirits of venegance (or whatever) are too good. Remove them.

DH is pretty good, needs to be removed once again I revisit my "De-Riggitize the damn Agility heroes" thing.

Remove the stupid heal thing, thats really stupid. Theres nothing like the extreme burst of hate you feel when the only reason you lost is because the enemy got this sudden burst of HP from nowhere.

Same goes for that matrix thing, remove it. Its really stupid getting 800 damage shots, those can throw the ENTIRE game if you get them when you need them- pure luck to get, needs to be removed.

In summary,
Remove this rigged bullshit or else your map will continue sucking.

How are agility heros unbalanced? They get less agility per level than non-agility heros.

The spirits of Vengence are not too strong, if anything... they are too weak.

DH is good, all the heros are good... I've seen DH get beat by a MalFurion (Intelligence).

The matrix adds a little luck to the game, yes. But all games have a little luck to them. With the matrix skill, a level 12 hero against a level 15 hero would actually have a chance to win. If it was removed, the level 12 might as well just quit. It adds balance in a way.

The stupid heal thing? I think you're referring to the Recover skill. EVERY hero has the recover skill, take advantage of it.

In Summary,
the map never sucked and can only get better if people like you would actually tell me stuff that actually is unbalanced rather than venting a little anger towards the map after a loss.

I respect your opinion but it seems you aimed to piss me off. I guess the only way to cure a bad mood is to share it, right? Shame it didn't work.

I agree with Eternal, execpt on the Agility heroes problem. IT IS A PROBLEM, they might get less pr level, but they get BOTH attack speed AND damage, where inteligence heroes get mana regen, mana and damage, strength get damage and health. Attack speed in this game is worth EVERYTHING. Something needs to be done about agility heroes, because with a bunch of boots, they are invulnerable. And that also means, towards the luck part, that they get even more chances of doing a crit hit, as they strike alot faster, so the level 12, would get wooped anyways :P

Eternal, don't take critisicm in a personal way, but instead try to take it and make it into something good..adjust your map to the peoples needs, if not, in the end, noone will play it.

I didn't take it offensively until the last sentence... I think "Remove this rigged bullshit or your map will continue sucking" could have been put in a more polite way. -_-

What is stopping non-agility heros from buying boots also? When I pick a strength or intel hero I always buy the boots in the beginning for armor/attack speed. With boots non-agi heros will be attacking even faster than an agility hero with boots.

Bad mood? I guess- From your map. I'm mad at getting beaten by **** heroes when I should be stronger, I outnumber them and outdamage them but they still kill me.

Oh yeah, about the spirits. They aren't strong but you get ALOT of them and also the normal spirit dude, the one with 1200 hp and 55 dmg, hes really strong.

So you get a bunch of weak guys and 1 strong guy all from 1 spell.

Bladestorm is too powerful, at level 2 it does like 220 dmg a whirl I think, or something like that, it chopped down an Ice Revenant (the most powerful cold revenant) very quickly and did like 600 damage to me (even thought I was running away)

How do u figure that non agi heroes with boots, will attack faster than agi heroes with bots? I don't see the logic in that.

Yes, he could have put that more polite, no need to get rude, and I can see that he continues. Thepersonthing, chill out and start responding like a civilized person pls...

IMHO, towards the orb thing, I'd say restrict the items. And I mean all items. All can have 1 orb, 2 accesories items (boots, gaunts, necklaces stuff like that), 1 armor, 1 weapon and the last slot for potions or what not. Think about it, as it will even things out a bit more. (AND realisticaly, u don't wear 6 pair of boots at one time :P)

Here's an example. For the sake of simplicity, lets say two heros are level 11. Hero 1 is an Agility hero, he started out with 22 Agility and recieves 2 agility per level. At level 11, he will have 42 agility without boots. With boots he will have +6 agility times the amount of boots he is wearing. Say both heros have 4 pairs of boots, so he will have 42 +24 agility for a total of 66.

Hero 2 is a Strength hero, he started out with 20 Agility and recieves 3 Agility per level. At level 11, he will have 50 agility without boots. With 4 boots he will have 50 + 24 agility for a total of 74.

I've played more games than I can remember privately and publically and the only time I can recall an Agility hero being overpowered is when agility tomes were much cheaper.
