I'm not sure about a house, Razor. Seems too complex and large to be a house. Perhaps the upgrader or the third tier barracks? Anyway, your troll/tauren's lower half is too thin. Doesn't look like he'd be capable of walking. If you could, attach the headhunter spear quiver to the back of the tauren hunter I had you work on.


So, can anyone help me out with skinning?

when you say tauren hunter, you mean the dude you wanted? if so, then go to http://www.uploadit.org/files2/171103-Tauren-Hunter.jpg :) i also made him a tad bit fatter, i heard what you said about the Mythirad[the dude im doing for my project, but will give to you if you want it], him not looking like he could work, so i fattened up both of them, since they're both about the same size at the waiste..

also, heres the updated pic of the possible tauren that you could want, theres a spear in there too, but i hide it, its not directly up tho[it was passing threw the back of the neck, needed to have it sideways]

Thanks, I hope you can line me up with someone. I want you guys' opinion. I'm working on one of the tauren casters, the Onyx Templar. He's kindof based on damage output and disabling, and rock themed. What should he look like? Duh, he's a tauren, but any suggestions on weapons, etc? Just wondering...

Workers: Younger Tauren (Imagine 'teenager' versions doing it - as older Tauren are used to fight).

Mages: Mystics, Priests or Monks. The Tauren are very noble and spiritual - see the Spriit Walker as an example. I'd go for something wearing a big robe.

that sounds like a pretty good idea, i always thought the taurens were noble, and i could try and do the younger tauren - but first i would need info for what TiJiL would want it to look like[ages ago i was thinking of making a tauren race, well..kinda, the workers would be Centuar slaves, i know, very un-tauren like[i only played MP back then, no SP..]....and that was about the only plan i had, also a few orc units with different skins and maybe scaled up or down a bit.

i hope i will be able to help out enough in this mod\campaign, ive also got an awsome race idea...but i dont want this to fail...

Yes, yes... The plan for the worker is the "Youngblood". Kindof a calf tauren. Certainly, tauren using slaves doesn't really fit their nature. I get the impression that the tauren are based on native american culture. (Chieftains, spirits, etc) I'd like to keep that kind of visual theme going for them. I'm not sure yet what I want the Onyx Templar to look like, so I'm going to start work on the Youngblood.

Oh, and Razor, you're welcome to help out, and your aid is appreciated. Probably, though, you won't have much to do with the tauren. (No mounted stuff, and so few models to work with). I implore you to get 3dsmax, though, as you seem pretty handy with modeling.

Speaking of which, I like the hunter so far. Please try to make his lantern more sling-like, and give him another spear or two on his back. A backpack or something like that would be nice, too. Essentially, he's got to look different enough from the Spirit Walker.

What is the race idea you have?

i thought trolls would be cool, but theres too many mods with them, and then i thought nerubion would be good - union race already used that, so then another idea popped inside my head - Furbolgs, although their mostly just NE type units[live in Kalimdor\Ashenvale], perhaps you could use the Draeni? or demons? i think ive rounded off nearly all races in the WC universe, unless you want to use totally custom[that means you can insert whatever you want - thats why i made the orcs in my campaign be going into another world :D total customness can be inserted then...but it is hard to think up building names, unit names ect...

i wish i did have 3dsmax, because recently Milkshape 3d has been crashing...hopefully it wont get worse, or else then i wont be able to model :(

Yes but its really hard, well for me i cant model that good but can do model edits.

Is your Milkshape the trail version?

no, i paid for it recently, but not long after that..it started crashing :( hope it fixes soon.

model edits are easy, and i like to edit them to the max, like moving nearly every vertex and stuff, but i always tell people that i didn't do it, cuz i didn't, its all blizz's..

well, im going to play morrowind, so dont expect me to reply for 3-5 hours, very addictive game
