hmmm AoH, u are rilli good at icon designing... i wonder how u did that diamond effect where it looks so crystal clear kind of thing, the one that is red/pink... how did u do that?

Here is my first icon i finished it today (12/12)






Here is my magnemite:

-alfred:
I drawed a lot of lines (in the beggining I wanted it to look like some kind of mace) then i figured out that it looked like a diamond8))
so I started to colour the lines and "filling" the spaces,
but it looked so pale (like the blue one, i did first) so i tried out
to fill some spaces with white, in the beggining it looked pretty
wierd but after a while when i searched at google for "diamond"
i saw how they had done the "shining"...
and a lot of practicing with just shining...
a tip is to do every space(the things in the middle of the lines)in
different colour..
and use much white!!!

and oops i forgot to tell u to use the effects and filters in photoshop

My really first one (errr... wait the second in fact cause the first was an undead razormane and I don't have any clue where the damn file is :ggani: ).
I've used the orc warlock as a base and hand drawn most of the details :)

good but I strongly suspect that it is orc spearthrower from orcs and humans......

Well, i looked at it while drawing but its is totaly freehand from scratch.

Sure my magnemite looks ugly (more ugly with background)
but im a newbie at making icons so ill hope that the icons ill make later will be more nice:ggani:

Actually, Mystique's is based off of the DoC Spearman icon more than the original WC icon.

Ya, well it sucked with the spear. And i went for the more Face less neck look.
