Guest | I hav some spell ideas. I use Roc so if u choose to create 1 of my spells u dont hav to put it into .w3m map (if u want to then do it). Here they r: All of these are ultimates by the way. Altering of Time : Overall Factor: 8 the Master of Time selects a single unit(hero, nonhero), stops time all around him and the selected unit and they (there life is regained if u want) Duel. Unholy Grounds : Overall Factor: 7 (Has to be some1 that slams the ground when casting a spell like a Tauren Chieftan or Tauren). Having the earth tremble then the Fallen Earth Ancient slams the ground letting out souls(dark summoning missile art) that seek a host. Units that are hit by the souls are damaged heavily-including heros-. Message from Death : Overall Factor: 8 Death has sent a message to the unit being casted on that he shall be near death. (Reduce targeted unit hp to 30 and hav all units around it friendly and enemy attack it.) |

Tunnel: Overall Factor: 7 Caster burrows undergrounds and becomes invisible to everyone, even controller. He can still be selected and moved around just like any other land unit. Little spikes should indicate where he is, and the duration should be 15 seconds, and it should increase regen and movement by 25%. Hammerhead: Overall Factor: 7 A Pit lord casts this. Basically the caster gets up close to target, does impale attack animation (Knocks enemy backwards with dust and blood flying everywhere) at the angle he casted, then he jumps into the air and lands on the target (more blood sprays out). Then you up the animation speed really high and make him attack the enemy like 20 times in 8 seconds in the face. Both are invunerable the whole time, and each hit in the face should do 20 damage. The initial impale thing should do 80. Soul Rift: Overall Factor: 9 Same as last one exept it counts how many you have and they circle around you like the spirit tower thingies. And it goes with this: Displacement: Takes a target group of units (regardless of control) around the caster and counts the number of souls. It then takes randomly that many number of units and the souls enter the bodies and push the other souls out. These souls go to you and combust dealing 10 damage each to hp and mana, but granting +1 attack for each also. The units should last for 60 seconds before the souls explode and take the bodies with them. The attack bonus will last 65 seconds. When it leaves, you gain back the amount you lost in the first place. Wee Neato huh? |

I did bullet time and then realized something... thunderclap already slows down enemy units. So I just used that, to let everyone see how you could do it with triggers I left them in anyway. Oh yeah, I know the description makes no scientific sense whatsoever(after all I'm a science person) but it sounds fine and most people don't notice or care. Here is the map. From Linkmaster: Did you even glitch test this? Fun Factor: 5 It was fun, but it didnt seem to work. SFX Factor: 3 The SFX was not Bullet-Timey at ALL. I guess either you didnt know how or jsut didnt feel like putting up the extra actions. Trigger Clairty: 10 At least THESE were clean, Good-Job on this. Difficulty Factor: 5 This spell really isn't all that hard, I found out the way to do it about 3 days ago. The only thing i have to say to you is just keep trying. Overall Score: 23 out of 40 This gets you 1/3 of that so... you get. 8 points! Good Job! |

I have two small problems I will point out about the spells I am making. Scars of a Veteran: Overall Factor: 8 This skill increases strength when a unit takes more than X amount of damage. You cannot check how much damage is dealt unless you have a specific unit event(correct me if I am wrong), which also can't use variables. How do you want it changed? Balance of Power: Overall Factor: 7 This skill selects the unit with the lowest life ratio from a group. The only way to do this would be to loop through the units and put them into a unit array and going from there do the check and whatever else; however, because JASS is an interpreted scripting langauge this type of thing is extremely time consuming for the CPU, it would cause large lag AND memory cunsumption. Do you want to rethink it? EDIT: Not sure but just to clear things up these are two spells I am making for Xev. I just wanted to point out some issues to you Xev, please tell me what you want me to do about it. From Linkmaster; Very...simple. Good Job. |

Sorry bout that Link.. i'll just try and think of a few complex spells then, my last post got deleted;/ i'll just keep it at 5 spells then, plz if u make any of these spells make them hero Living Death Overall Factor: 8 ---CLAIMED--- - Effects all corpses/alive units within a small radius (500-700) Ressurect all units, but for each unit ressurected an alive unit must die. E.g. 10 dead bodies, 5 alive units, 5 are revived and the 5 already alive ones die. This works for frendly and enemy units, but is kept seperate in account for the alive unit dependance. Last example: u have 3 alive units, 5 dead bodies enemy has 2 alive units, 6 dead bodies SO u're 3 units die and 3 r revived, and enemy looses 2 units but gets 2 revived. Maybe for simplicity purposes remove the corpses from the game to prevent them getting revived again by the spell. Decree of Silence Overall Factor: 8 ---CLAIMED--- - Cast on an enemy unit, 3 spheres appear around that unit, every time he casts a spell it is nulified but a sphere dissapears. But the spheres slowly regenerate so after a while 2 shperes would go backup to 3, unless there are 0 then the spheres dissapear for ever. Each level more spheres could appear. Death spark Overall Factor: 9 - a simple firebolt that u cast on an enemy unit, however once it hits target it then checks if there is a dead body within a small radius e.g. 500. If so the dead body dissapears and the spell is recast on an enemy unit, it keeps doing this endlessly until no more dead bodies. Could do it like chain lightning, and when initially cast count the bodies nearby and give it that many bounces, or just make an invisble unit keep appearing and casting it... i don;t really know.. Living Armor Overall Factor: 10 - Cast on a friendly hero, the caster then becomes an item in the heroes inventory, the hero with the item gains certain bonuses such as +20% life/mana/regeneration/damage/armor etc. If the hero clicks on the item the original hero pops back out Weapons mastery Overall Factor: 8 - A passive ability, for each item a hero has in inventory he gains a small bonus to all stats such as 10% increased life/mana/regeneration/damage/armor, so 6 items would mean +60%. Each level could increase the % per level. Ok i won;t post anymore, maybe tomorrow or something c how it goes From Linkmaster: See what happens when you think for a little longer? All of your spells hit a 8! I liked them all so there really isn't much to say, but I would be really interested to see some of these spells. Good Job Xev! |

Shards of Consiousness - 3 levels- Overall Factor:10 cannot be cast on heroes The attack style is similar to chain lightning (num of targets increases with level) but every unit that gets hit gets a random mental-aligned status alimentation. Status alimentations are: 20% : Berserk (loose control, +attackpower/speed) 40% : Mind Numb (slow down unit) 30% : Zombify (loose armor, unit can only attack) 10% : Harikiri (Unit attacks the closest enemy of his and deals huge damage with that strike, the unit then commits suicide (dies) Duration and other effects change with level. From Linkmaster: Not really hard for me, but I will let some one else tkae this spell. I figured a 10 wouldn't do it, as it isnt ALL that hard to do. Just a random effect interger. Good-Job, and Thanks for only 1 spell. Heh. From Scarlet Russian: Yes, it is hard because for the life of me i can't find out how to get the second and third targets from chain lightning, so whoever makes this is just going to have to simulate it with triggers which is a royal asspain considering that chain lightning never hits the same unit again and number of targets increases. Linkmaster: Good Point. Number changed... |

one spell done From Linkmaster: Hey, its what he said! Fun Factor: 7 It was fun burning thier souls, but just didnt have the KICK i was hoping. SFX Factor: 5 There werent TOO many SFX'es, you could have elaborated more on some. Trigger Clairty: 9 Your triggers are very clean and understandalbe, but there was just somehintg that was bugging me as i read them. I dont know what at this time, but it was wierd. Difficulty Factor: 7 This spell was fairly simple, if you had of buffed it up with sfxes it would have been ALOT better. Overall Score: 28 out of 40 This gets you 1/3 of that so... you get. 9 points! Good Job! |

I got the Horror spell done:D . I can tell its been a long time since I did spell work, lol. It took me a min to remember what to do, but I am all oiled back up and ready to get these gears spinning on some great requests. I know the special effects on this are kind of bogus, but I couldn't think of anything better. Anyways, here it is. From Linkmaster: If you need a basic spell, look no further. Fun Factor: 8 It was fun, you did a good job. SFX Factor: 5You should try to add SFX'es to the affected units too, but all in all. Very Nice. Trigger Clairty: 10The triggers were very easy to read and very basic. Good Job. Difficulty Factor: 5This spell wasnt hard at all, and you showed it. Adding some SFX'es really would have done good here. Overall Score: 28 out of 40 This gets you 1/3 of that so... you get. 9 points! Good Job! |

Fast as Lightning: Overall Factor: 8 Based off of chain lightning. This spell makes the Hero casting it as fast as lightning, teleporting around hitting enemy units. I dont really know how to make this, because I don't know how to acquire the 2nd, 3rd etc. target of chain lightning, but the first target woul be easy, just make animation speed really high and Move (instantly) the hero then play attack animation. Maybe you could do this a 1 target spell. Aquatic Eruption: Overall Factor: 8 It will make the terrain rise and make water elemental death animations or something and damage and area of effect. From Linkmaster: Interesting. Very Interesting. |

Here is the spell clone, I don't quite know how much of a duplicate you wanted so I just made you turn into an exact copy(level, xp, color and all). Also when the clone dies your hero dies. In my triggers I didn't use any replace unit actions. I don't know about other triggerer's styles but I try to avoid that action as much as possible because in the past it has caused problems, things such as warcraft closes or lags. Also if you want to make it target any unit simply take out the condition in the conditions part of the trigger that checks for heroes(I set everything else up already). This spell can be used by any number of players but each player may only have 1 hero that can use it. (note: I would like to claim living armor and weapons mastery) From Linkmaster: Im begining to think sumone hates SFX'es Fun Factor: 5 I guess it was OK. No SFX blows. ![]() SFX Factor: 1 There were none. ![]() Trigger Clairty: 10 At least THESE were clean, Good-Job on this. ![]() Difficulty Factor: 3 Easy. Lots of potiential in this. ![]() Overall Score: 18 out of 40 This gets you 1/3 of that so... you get. 6 points! Good Job! |

I made Dash along with a minigame. The minigame is titled "Attack of the Beetles" and you're a guy who escapes the attacks of the beetles (duh :ggani:) it's mad awesome to me :D From Linkmaster: Mad crazy game dude. Its hard tho. Fun Factor: 10 Hey, the move is cool and he made it into a game! What more could you want?? ![]() SFX Factor: 10 It REALLY looked like he was moving fast. Good-Job! ![]() Trigger Clairty: 10 Triggers were clear. Very Clear. GJ. ![]() Difficulty Factor: 8 This move wasnt the hardest...but it wasnt the easiest either. Good. Job. ![]() Overall Score: 38 out of 40 This gets you 1/3 of that so... you get. 13 points! Good Job! |

Do you need anything changed? From Linkmaster: :( not as good as the last one... Fun Factor: 5 Repetitive...:( ![]() SFX Factor: 7 Could have done better but good. ![]() Trigger Clairty: 10 Nice clear triggers. Good-Job on this. ![]() Difficulty Factor: 6 nice, It was easy. But Nice. ![]() Overall Score: 22 out of 40 This gets you 1/3 of that so... you get. 7 points! Good Job! |

Ok here is some spells Nuclear Strike (Ultimate) Overall Factor: 8 Makes a rocket come down from the sky dealing 300 to all land unit in 1200 area (including your own). Raise all water in an area of 5000 killing units that stand in the water, makes the units in the area of the missile jump in the air for 2, then poisen them all so they get 2 damage per second and slowed by 25% in 60 seconds. Machine Gun (Item Ability) [Overall Factor: 8 Makes the hero caster the units in front of him at 180 degrees dealing 100 damage per skilllevel and moves them 200 back and stuns them for 1 second per skilllevel. It uses the settings in my post below. Ninja Punch (Item Ability) Overall Factor: 7 You target a unit whith 300 of the caster, the unit get 300 damage and fly's 500 backwards (You can see the unit in the air) with the settings from my post below. Ability Drain Overall Factor: 8 You targets a hero whith 500 of the caster, then the hero need to concentrate in 2 second without the targeting hero leaves 500 of the caster. Then the caster get a random ability from the target (you can make it with a dummy unit I think) and can fire it. After 30 seconds the ability leaves the caster and the target get it again. Equalize Overall Factor: 6 Take all units life for each player and set there life as a percentage between the owners units and the player with all lowest life among his units. Then take all units mana for each player and set there mana as a percentage between the owners units and the player with all lowest mana among his units. Linkmaster: This is gettin repeitive, any ways, I think those spells would be worth doing, they are all pretty mcuh the same, so dont be surprised if they are gone next clean-up. |
