Just to answer some questions

I've set the sig change cost to 0, so please make use of it now so you don't have to complain later.

Also, I think the avatar thing will be a nice change. I know you prolly miss yours (I would a little), but try to give this a shot. I'm pretty sure it will not suck as bad once you get used to it. There are a lot of avys to obtain, and you'll be able to soon.

5000 isnt hard... i had about alltogether without spending 9000 on vb2

I'm not sure at this time about the fate of the DL Top Ten. We are currently working on getting the DL center up and fully working.

I think it's a good idea but 5000. That seems like a lot to me. It took me a month of dedication to get about 50 points. After that I ran out of threads to respond to. Do the math.

Edit: I'm not whining. I'm just saying, it would take the average person 100 months to get a custom avitar. That's 8 years!

Also, I have heard you mention something about making a real working bank once this change takes place. I know the bank is Draco at present but it is highly ineficient (no offence to Draco). It would be nice to be able to withdraw or check my account at will.

There is no bank at the moment. I'm not sure if there will be one in this system, but I will inform you when I find out for sure.

So umm... all the time I spent around here answering questions and helping people out was for....? I mean, I like to be helpful and all, but I can't even get my own avatar now? That's just messed up.

When you disable your icon there is a empty box with a red X, or at least when i look at my posts thats what happens.

Yup, but why disable it. That's worse than a sheep icon. I'll see if we can get that [x] to disappear.

And it's almost sad to hear about how they helped people and now want an avatar. You can help people without rewards, ya know?

My biggest question is why the upgrade?

ATM, the only benefit of it is the superior downloads area. Yes, there are new and better things coming... but why not wait until they are ready? The biggest problem with this is that the template is utterly unusable, and I don't feel like trying to write a user stylesheet that only matches this site, so I'm forced to have styles disabled. The avatar thing is kinda fun, except for that it eliminates the point of an avatar, which is to allow rapid identification of who is posting, and I'm already sick of seeing so many damn sheep.

Also, the stylesheet really needs to be in an external file. You're wasting 8k bandwidth per page load on something which is really easy to fix :P

The upgrade to vb3 also decreased the amount of exploits in the site. I was actually suprised when they decided to upgrade it without some of the stuff done, but now it's kinda late so we have to run with it, ya know?
