How do i upload pictures of my work in a large image like the wardancer i made a female vampire and i cant post a pic of it.

first you go to mange attachments and select the pic
then when it is uploaded then click close manage attachments
then click on the pic name below the post area
then select the webaddress and copy it
paste into you post
where it says url that needs to be replaced with img
ok?

It was supposed to be a vampire but i havent added the teeth if you want to you could use it for something else like an elf.

I havent touch the armor yet.

If you're worried about what races to leave out btw, the Chaos Dwarves and Hobgoblins are obvious choices (I think you already said that). The Lizardmen could also be left out, if you decide to focus on the Old World continent. Skaven and Beastmen make very useful bad guys, for Dwarves and Wood Elves respectively. You could mb use them as creep races or something.

How do you intend to have the heroes btw? Starting out from a few set classes and then evolving or something? That would give you a lot of lee-way with Chaos (Norseman->Warrior->Champion->Demon) :).

If u want, I can help out with skins, terrain and low-level triggering. I'm also fairly knowledgeable about Warhammer, if that's useful :).

I can skin, terrain a little, icon, and do light mdl editing, like removing geosets and anim transfers using those funky tools by oinkerwinkle. I still have no idea how to do geosets, but I may be able to understand it soon. I also have some knowledge of Warhammer lore.

To comment on these races:
men (from many different regions)- Ah, the generic human. I reckon there should be seperate buildings for units from each region (eg. a building solely for Middenheimers to be trained in)
high elves- Hmm, I guess they may be usable, but may be very weak.
wood elves- Could be used, but will probably be very similar to night elves in tech trees and units.
dark elves- Dark elves are a little boring, in my opinion. Too monotonous.
skaven (ratmen)- Possibly a bad idea. Unless we get a modeller, the skaven will look nothing like ratmen.
orcs- Again, another generic race. Good one to keep.
black orcs- Merge with orcs and have them as elite units.
goblins- Merge with orcs and use as workers and tier 1 infantry, or siege units (eg. goblin pump wagon)
hobgoblin- Bad idea. Normally ally with chaos dwarves, but if chaos dwarves merge with chaos army, there'll just be too many factions. Plus I don't like hobgoblins.
saurus- Always liked lizardmen. May not fit very well though
skink- Merge with saurus to make the lizardmen regular army.
dwarves- Merge with humans.
halflings- Merge with humans.
undead (vampires, necromancers)- And of course, there's always the undead. I guess they could stay.
beastmen- Merge with chaos.
chaos- Always great to use for bad guys.
chaos dwarves- Merge with chaos. We have to make these guys look cool. They were hopelessly ghey before the hellfire cannon and operators were released for storm of chaos.

So, we'd need to choose the four main races. Well, I suggest Chaos, Human, Orc and if we can get them to work, Skaven.

That terrain looks nice for Loren.... it might need to be a bit more dense as far as trees are concerned, and I don't know if the statue really fits. But it's nice anyway :D .

For the overall map layout, are you going to work from an actual map of the Warhammer world? There's a great one in the middle of the rulebook.

-edit- Forgot to say, that pic with the satyrs looks like a beastmen herd gathered round their herdstone or something. Mb the Resurrection Stone could be reskinned to look more 'chaos'?

Is this gonna be more like the roleplaying game or the tabletop, if you don't know the rpg go check it out quick. I would also help out If I knew what to do.

I commented on the Loren screenies in the terrain section.
Jerre, what are you good at? I've seen you can skin okay. Any other modding abilities? Terraining? Icons?

Are we gonna have voice acting?

And on a final note, if we have a hero that we ever created for warhammer, could we include it in this? I'd very much like to see my Champion of Nurgle in this. His name's a bit freaky though- Kusir'ilshfol the Contagious. Blame the Daemon name generator on gw's site for that name.

I'm having a go at terraining for the moment, I guess I could skin. I'm also good at bossing people around but I 'd better not do that. I can also do some concept art. I'll see if I can find some unit to skin into something warhammerish.

He was originally called Kharak The Vengeful, but after many, many, many defeats he abandoned his army, declared his name to be The Black Bob and set off to win fame in my club's numerous Arena of Death! games, initially as a judge until it became clear that he was guaranteed to kill everyone for misdeameanors ranging from "not fighting anyone" and "fighting too many people at once" up to "looking at me funny" and "not looking at me". Ah, those were the days.....

Anyway.... hm..... I would like it if we put Gareth Hamilton's Skaven Cheiftain, Ratarsed Rat in this somewhere. That is, if we used skaven. Just for the comedy touch. ;)

That's a bit of an injustice, I believe.
