the tree models in the environment pack were extracted from the NE backdrops. but there are other trees, that have only been recently extracted. such as the palm tree model. these are now available in the DL section. a link is in the essenatail terrain tools thread

I've also put up a thread about them in the general terrain forum, check it out for some help if you've got problems ;)

well heres my sad little attempt... the map was only 32x32... one little puddle of water... lol. i like my waterfall/elevated river, the sides are all sunken ruins rocks elevated and stretched placed at an angle to each other... so yea heres the pics (yay finally one of my map takes some O.K. ss's!)

i like your's bur, but if i make a suggestion, the waterfall looks kinda... floating-ish. try using rock spires scaled really tall with (page-up) alot, but still same width, just to give some body around your waterfall. cuz its just kinda falling from nowhere. if u wanna know, theres no raised ground underneath my river/falls, just rocks built up around it to make it look like its elevated terrain

Looks like u did a good job but ur screen shots could have been better, i'd just take them in the editor if i was you , so u can get more things in the pic. Too hard to get a nice shot in the game.

Those are nice but you might have overdone it with those shrubs there, and you should use the grassy dirt tile some. Then you should use the ctrl+page down on most of your trees because you can see beneath them. Great work with placing and scaling those trees.

Nice too, but you got some floating trees too, and you should use shrubs(at least I think so). Then I think that some kind of weather effect would be nice.
