Themed Skin Week Proposal

Ok if u want to get this started I think we need to have a poll every sunday. Monday starts the skinn week. it finishes friday and saturday people can vote on there fav 2 skins and it gets put on the front page. Like an artist feature. The rest of the skins would also be linked to on the front page.
We can also post the inital vote on the front page.

There is no way in hell a skin is going onto the main page, especially since you and mock1 are really under surveillance( ie. they hate you ). Maybe WH would do it, it would probably be removed though. Seeing its every week, no they would never accept it, MC2 is already pushing it.

I think white would do it and its NOTHINg like the master contest. The admids would have no reason to remove it it Pertains to the site. No flamming, no ads, and its not a real contest. its just a themed skin week, people would be actually working together. Its basically turnning the usless crazes (i.e. panda, fel) into something useful. ^_^

And I could care lest tha Dark boy and techtanium hate me. Look administration hated you, but they cant Kill you. You have community spirit even tho u show it in extreme ways sometimes.

yea and its more like the weekly terraining thing in the terrain forums and people learn alot from that. so can someone answer my question pls

I'd love to join in on this.

It'd help me get better work habits and give me a hell of alot more practice.

It would be really good to have the themes and previous week showcase on the front page or any other website. And it's definately not like the master contest it'd be more together than competitive (although there's bound to be some 'my skin is better than yours').

Well then, should we start the poll tonight? or should we get some initial themes together before starting?

If WC3C doesn't host it on the front page or make it official. I can host at my website in exchange that the skins made get released on my site. We could also just put them in the artist gallery as a communtiy project but I'm sure if we can get something official going. If I'm leading it then no if someone else then they might do it.

For ideas I really really wanna do marvel skins. I suggested it to the Insomnia graphics crew if they dont take it then we should do that.
