Guest | Thank you. Ive thought of have the MK for the dwarf guy. IM going to have a plan dwarf with no weaps and then have one at a different stage. Sort of like.... Dwarf(no weaps) Dwarf(sword or gun) Dwarf (MK 1 with rifle or sword and axe, etc.) I will probably need new models for all this but that comes later I still got a crap load of the map to finish. If you find any errors just reply here. Oh and why are random Hostile units red? They arent set on team red either. Anyone got ideas? |

Colors on the map are displayed in two different ways... 1. Enemies of you are all red. 2. True Team Colors. - - - I think you change it by clicking one of the buttons on the bottome-left side of screen... |

When you say WoW "MOD" is it going to be installed like Rise of Krill Installs, or is it going to be restricted to the World Editor limits? I saw you talking about talking about something with editing models....... I think it would be cool if you made a campaign screen and everything like Rise of Krill, even though its only on 1 map, and maybe you will think about making more then 1 map to continue onto, like maybe a map that upgrades to a nightmare or hell type difficulty (like diablo2)? (ex. instead of level 1,2,3... you could have WoW Normal, Nightmare, Hell) Of course don't use those names, make up your own original difficulty level labels hehe |

Damn forum won't let me edit post.... ALSO: I know how the different terrain palletes are limited to the number you can use per map, so you might want to create a different map for each type of terrain (ex. forest, mountains, winter, desert, etc.) That would work great with a campaign screen also :D I just realized this might not be the right thread to post this in either, so i'm sorry if it is the wrong one. |

Guest | About WoW Well WoW is "hopefully" going to be an online game. So I guess MOD would be the wrong term to use. A few custom models will most likely be used, but not many due to only 3MB of space to use. It the bases of people wandering the lands looking for quests, items and spells. Only 1 map (480x480) since its online. I wont be restricted much with my ideas because luckily WE fits most of my needs. Creatures will wander on there own around the map giving it a real feel. Models would be edited to fit the character. Lets say you have a troll that has just earned its 6th spell, by getting that spell it turns your character into the troll mage. Or for riding a horse(thats where I really need my custom models). Hopefully I answered all your questions even if this replay is jumbled up. ADDED: Can you have more than 1 map linked online? I doubt it but just to wonder. |

Guest | When I first started making it, it was suppose to be 480x480 but was only like 256x250 or something. So I got advice from here and went into WorldEditData(notepad version) and changed the default map size to 480x480 and then I started. I have about..... 3/10 of the map done. All players and classes have start location except one. So its 480x480 and about 365x380 playable so it works and damn its huge :D |

Guest | The trees on that mntn look like rows.. throw in a few spaces and offsets to make ehm more realisticish and another thing. If you make your forests that dense it only lags up the game even more. I'm wondering if your map will be playable when it's finished.. |
