I installed a language packet to see that? Im just telling you right now, im not stupid. When i first tried i opened up a abilitydata.slk file, and then i clicked on a data i wanted to change. It created a box around it, didnt do anything else. I tried right clicking on it too, and double clicking on it. No idea what im doing wrong.

Sorry archersRcheap, My mistakes.
Well, Let's see how to use slk editer first.
That is called grid and cell is space between grids.
size of a cell can be adjusted when you bring your mouse cursor to line around the cell.
and you can change strings when you select cell you want to edit and type in words. then, the words you just type in will be added to the string that already there.
If you want to erase the string and type new, then press enter and type words.

I'd make only an OPTIONAL auto-update function that can be turned off. In addition I'd make an English official page where we can download the latest version without auto-update.

find backup file (*.w3b) and rename it.
if backup file is damaged too then follow next steps.

at first, check your map protection. if protection is "W3M ENC/DEC Password Protector" then set [Options]-[MPQ Processing Method]-[LMPQAPI.DLL] and try again remove protector.

if protection is "W3Z Protector" then follow next steps.
did you saw warning message box when you do remove protector?
if you did saw, find temprory backup file (*.bak) in your working folder.
and rename that file.
then you can see a protection of the before you do remove protector. set to [LMPQAPI.DLL] and try remove protector.

why occur this problem?
->maybe it's a SFMPQ.DLL bug. if use LMPQAPI.DLL, you can't see this problem again.

I downloaded it, installed it, and tried using it, but it only pops up a box stating "Cannot connect to server", and when I click on "OK" nothing happens. Why would I need to connect to some server to edit a map? If it can't connect, why won't it go ahead and let you edit a map? :bgrun:

because check updated file from server.
so have to connect internet at first time.
and next, you can change [Options]-[Auto Update] setting.
but i'll follow your advice.
i'll changed that dont need to connect internet at first time in next version.
thanks for your opinion.

Excellent tools! Easy to use and comprehensive.

I have a minor comment about the English translation. Most are fine. However, "Special effects" is rather confusing. I suggest you can change it to "Extract/Add files". Also, "Available Files" should be "Path of the file in the map". "Apply" should be "Add file". "Apply image" should be "Add image".

Well, this is just my little suggestions, but I think it can reduce some confusion that new users may encounter. (Someone did ask me how to use those functions.)
