Ok, I started working on the map. I added some more buildings, income system(thanks to Panto) and 2\3 more units. I won't be here in this week, because I'm going to a vacation. I'll give ya my work for now, it's not the best thing i could've done in this time, but it's something. I got some ideas about the tech tree, that's my idea for the temporary tech tree: Building Tech Tree Main Brick->Main Center, Main Center+Main Brick= Expanded Center. Tower Brick->Basic Tower, Basic Tower+Tower Brick= Guard Tower. Guard Tower+Main Brick= Castle (Secret). House Brick->Lego House. Tower Brick+Lego House= Guard House(Borruw style fortified house, can load up to 4 Archer type units, but it loses the income. Secret). Basic Tower+Magical Enchantment*= Wizard's Tower(Secret. Builds only the first level wizard). Basic Brick->Construction Site, Construction Site+Training Grounds Building Plan= Training Grounds. Construction Site+House Brick= Residence(Bigger income, more food. Secret). Construction Site+Research Lab Building Plans= Research Lab. Training Grounds+Training Grounds Building Plans= Barracks(Builds units that are already equipped. Secret). Construction Site+Blacksmith Building Plans= Blacksmith. Architect Shop Brick->Architect Shop. Unit Tech Tree Training Grounds: Unexperienced Warrior, Warrior(Needs a specific research), Fighter(Same as Warrior but needs the level 2 research)Weapon Master*(Same as Warrior but needs the level 3 research). Castle: Knight*(Improved Fighter, doesn't need armor to improve to another unit), Cavalier*(Improved Rider, doesn't need armor to improve to another unit). Barracks: Swordsman*, Archer*, Pikeman*, Axeman*. Wizard's Tower: Apprentice Wizard*. Shop's Items Architect Shop: Building Plans - Training Grounds, Research Lab. Wizard's Tower: Tome of Minor Fire*, Tome of Minor Water*. Blacksmith: Spear*, Bow*, Sword*, Axe*. Light Armor*. *Most of these don't have ideas yet. **Main Brick= Center Brick ---------------------------------------------- Note: I didn't finish most of the things showed in the tech tree ---------------------------------------------- I'll add the descriptions for the items next week, I hope that you can start working on the models and stuff for this tech tree and I hope that you like it, too. the architects house shows up as a human farm... and nothing seems to work... and the only lego box which spawns bricks is the second player's one. icbm1987 |

How will the lego material system be? Will it be like a conventional gold mine? If so i'll skin the gold mine to be legoish and replace the gold with lego blocks. Or will it be custom model or what? Btw Mega you're sig isnt working. It's a nice red x box. |

Why don't you make the town hall the lego box and the gold mine just a normal goldmine. Then you buy the bricks from the lego box and the lego box acts as a Tome of Relics. If you keep that system then rushing will be out of control all people need to do is walk into your base and pickup them tower blocks place them down and upgrade them. |

You will need to buy the bricks in some way otherwise if it randomly generates a brick every now and then it will become far to unbalenced plus the lag greated. Buying them from the gold mine wouldn't work either because the goldmine is never yours so it acts as a Goblin Merchant so anyone can just buy them so the Town Hall must supply them. Don't forget before you worry about droping the building and an enemy picking it up and building lego its only a simple trigger to make them drop it if the player doesn't match. |

So my new Idea is that we do as you say and have goldmines like goblingmerchant but we add a stock maximum and a cooldown for them to come back so that you can´t buy infinite from one box whitout waiting.. |

Wow... Unbeleivable work guys! ^_^ I wish to join up, I progress in excellent custom units, spells, dodads, and i have mastered all the triggers except cache' so i would be very helpful in a lego mod. :D |

Just thought I would let you know I am still here, sorry I haven' been able to do any more tile work, my hard gave out and I am just now getting everything going again, been using another comp to check and the boards and such. So, with any luck I will be able to get back to making tiles for you shortly. |
