Wow just watched TTOA Chapter 1 with my new comp. Its so much cooler with no lag ^_^
Though theres a few glitches that I never knew about due to the lag... :\

The only thing that will probably keep me in Warcraft III, is if I can find:

A dedicated team of modelers and skinners who can...
Make new models for EVERY unit for TTOA (using mostly old, but some new animations), model new higher poly doodads, and skin realistic style in 1024x1024 (units and large objects) and 512x512 (small details) resolution. But thats probably not going to happen...

Yes I think it may be time to move on, but don't give up hope yet... I'm not gonna get back into anything for a little bit I'm still installing stuff, and I need to transfer all the files from my old harddrive still. Also, I'll be playing NFS Underground, and UT2k4 alot. (Oh yeah which btw Bloodslaughter, my comp runs with full graphic detail & 1024x768 resolution [I'd go higher but my monitor doesn't support it or something] with no 99% no lag) This GeForce TI4200 may not be the best card when it comes to actual graphical beauty, but its a fast card.

Iran_Iam, you cannot quit, i will do what i can to learn how to model and such, i shall not let this project go under the wayside. You CANT do this. its sickening, terrible, nasty, and just plain out ugly. Quiting is the worse thing in life possible, failing at somthing terribly is not near as low as quitting. Think about these words, and your foolish cancelation.

I just got a new computer... it kicks ass, naturally I don't want to do anything but stare at l33t graphics with no lag. I've got a shit load of stuff from my old comp to organize now as well, so naturally I'm not thinking about TTOA, or how much I may be into/outta it right now.

Don't consider it canceled yet heh, I'd give official word in a thread.

I've had an urge to get back on top of TTOA here today. I think everyones cries might finally be answered with good news. ^_^

My life has been a bit hectic lately, between building a new comp, Reverie Entertainment, pondering over TTOA, building a new computer, and my dads condo that we will hopefully have sold by the 15th, I've been quite tense and haven't slept too well lately. Things are calming down a bit though thank gosh, and I'm loving my new comp.

Anyway theres a chance you might see some updates to the forum and maybe even a site somewhere in the near future...

This thread will be closed down soon and replaced with a new one (after 300+ posts I believe a new thread is in order).

Well I'm off to bed now... my damn leg is cramped up... and hell if I know why...

Now if you ever feel like quitting don't post it or people will freak out as seen below.

I was going to see Resident Evil Apocalypse tonight. I told my friend to meet me at the theater, and we did. My mom bought me the ticket since I'm 15 days shy of being 17 yrs old. My friend managed to get by without them asking for ID. But the dude asked me for my ID. I had my mom with me and she said I could see it, but this fucker was giving me some bullshit about how I have to be 'acompanied' by an adult, and my mom sure as hell didn't want to see the movie.
So after already waiting 3 three weekends to see this movie with my friend (because of getting sick, busy schedules, whatever), I still couldn't fucking see it because of this dickhead!
I wasted a fucking half-an-hour round trip.

Damnit...
Ruined my damn plans for the night. I'm probably going to stay up late tonight and have a UT2004 fragfest... good way to blow off some damn steam... in addition to this little rant.
