I've returned today from my vacation and as I can see, you liked the idea, I'll start to add ideas for the units\items\buildings tomorrow.
I think that we have a little problem with the models, because I don't see that there are some models, so I would like to suggest that the modelers will start working on the models instead of something else(ideas, map, triggers).

Give me ideas and I´ll try to put them in the prototype map..
And the model thingie.. all we need to do is convert the models on that site,
make them low poly,
and unwrap them..
(kinda much when I think about it...)

you should really get started on the conversions now then... I forsee lots of geoset merging and stuff...

That part is going to take longer than you thing...

I'm getting to know how to work with 3dsm and gave him team color(k its not that perfect but it can be changed) and now gonna try to animate it hehe;)

OK, here are most of the ideas:
Buildings
Main Center - Basic Building, builds legomen and adds 50 gold to the income.
Expanded Center - Like the Main Center but adds 100 gold to the income.
Basic Tower - Scout Tower in other words, does nothing but watching.
Guard Tower - Attacking version of the Basic Tower, has more HP and armor.
Castle - A secret combo, produces knights and cavalaries.
Lego House - Basic food and income building, adds 10 gold to the income and produces 5 food.
Guard House - A secret combo, Archers can garrison inside this building to make it attack(2 slots), adds 5 gold to the income and produces 5 food.
Wizard's Tower - A secret combo, adds 5 gold to the income, sells ice and fire tomes and produces Apprentice Wizards.
Construction Site - Basic building for building other ones.
Training Grounds - First Barracks building, can train Unexperienced Warriors, Warriors, Fighters and Weapon Masters.
Residence - A secret combo, adds 15 gold to the income and produces 10 food.
Research Lab - Main research building, researches Warrior Training(and later levels), Wizard Training and Fortified Walls. (Unknown researches will be explained later).
Barracks - A secret combo, builds equipped units(e.g. Archer, Swordsman).
Blacksmith - Main weaponry and armory, adds 10 gold to the income and sells low level weapons(Sword, Pike, Axe and Bow for now) and armor(Light Armor for now).
Architect Shop - Main Building Plans source, sells building plans for the Construction Site.
Architect Shop+Architect Shop Brick= Brick Shop - A secret combo, sells bricks(Bricks that spawn in the lego box for now).

Units
Unexperienced Warrior - Can't attack until he gets a weapon. Can be equipped with Low Level Weapons(Sword, Bow, Pike, Axe) and Armor(Light Armor).
Warrior - Can attack. Can be equipped with Low-Medium Level Weapons(Sword, Pike, Bow, Axe, Two-Handed Sword, Halbred, Long Bow, Two-Handed Axe) and Armor(Light Armor, Medium Armor). Needs the Warrior Training Research.
Fighter - Can attack and has a better armor. Can be equipped with Low-High Level Weapons(Sword, Pike, Bow, Axe, Two-Handed Sword, Halbred, Long Bow, Two-Handed Axe, Bastard Sword, Full Halbred, Battle Bow, Double-Sided Axe) and Armor(Light Armor, Medium Armor, Half Plate). Can ride normal horses. Needs the Fighter Training Research.
Weapon Master - Best Infantry for the Knights. Can be equipped with all weapons and armor. Can ride all horses. Needs the Weapon Master Training Research.
Knight - Already has an armor on him. Can be equipped with all Low-High Weapons. Needs the Fighter Training Research. Can Ride normal horses.
Cavalier - Already has a horse and armor. Can be equipped with all weapons. Needs the Weapon Master Training Research.
Swordsman - The combination of any infantry with a Sword and Light Armor.
Archer - The combination of any infantry with a Bow and Light Armor.
Pikeman - The combination of any infantry with a Pike and Light Armor.
Axeman - The combination of any infantry except Weapon Master with two Axes.
Rider - The combination of a Cavalier and a Halbred, has the Joust ability. Secret.
Apprentice Wizard - Can't attack. Can be equipped with Tomes of Thunder, Water, Wind, Earth, Poison, Energy, Ice, Holy Magic and Dark Energies.

Items
Training Grounds Building Plan - When equipped to a Construction Site, it will turn into Traning Grounds.
Research Lab Building Plan - When equipped to a Contruction Site, it will turn into a Research Lab.
Tome of Minor Fire - Gives Wizards the Fireball Spell.
Tome of Minor Water - Gives Wizards the Water Wave Spell.
Spear - Low Level Weapon.
Bow - Low Level Weapon.
Sword - Low Level Weapon.
Axe - Low Level Weapon.
Light Armor - Low Level Armor.

That's all for now, I guess that most of these will be in the demo. I also suggest that the demo will be a melee map, not a part of the campaign.

Im a writer which use lego when making some of my ideas! ^_^

The best way to gain the best models would to be to hack into lego's code for their games (the "creator" series) and take the models for items and characters. They are very well done. :D

And you thaught that the are in mdx format? else, most game creators make their own file formats for their models/skins/sound etc. and you think you can import them in wc3? yeah, you can convert, but then you need a converter... :>

I´m working on the legobox thing...
And I wonder if anyone knows a good way off making an item-abillity that can target goldmines..

And sorry but I´m no good modeller..
and I have 3dsmax 6 so I can´t use art tools....

I think that the only thing preventing you from targeting a gold mine is the fact that it's invincible, nothing more.
What do you think about my ideas?

If you need skins or model, Im here....you know what I can do, Im a godly non organic modeller if I do say so myself...that means lego too ;)

Ill be happy to help with this I guess...specially skins too.

The Thing we need is UV mapper and a animator...
cause we can model skin but we arenot so good at unwraping.
but I appriciate your help..
but you could make a lego unit of some kind...wizard...and unwrap and skin it...
so that we have something..

This is getting annoying, I think that this project is going down because almost nobody replied in the last week, and Megaerathia, our project leader, didn't reply so much as well. So I want to know if this project will be completed or not, if not, I'm leaving the team ><.
