I figured out that certain people where experiencing problems with the latest version (0.28) of HeavyLocker. Since I used the 0.27 version I didn't experience the problems reported by other people.
FyreDaug confirmed for example that with the 0.27 version the problems he encountered with 0.28 were gone.

Therefore I provide you with a download for 0.27:
Heavy Locker 0.27

I suggest to use this form of recompression in any case. Personally I use it without protection and without listfile removal most of the time. Especially the compression of text-based files (TXT, SLK, J, AI) will increase by a significant degree.

how do you make it so u can compress the map but not make it protected so other people can open it?

To compress it use the Enable Map Optimizations checkbox.
To leave it unprotected, don't click the Use 'Map Lock' Options box.

Quick Question. Its obvious that you prefer 0.27 over 0.28. 0.28 doesn't seem to offer map protection for 1.16, does 0.27 offer map protection for 1.16?

If it doesn't, my protector (see sig) should. It won't compress the map as much, but it will protect it.

The last version is 0.28, altough it has some bugs. You could also try 0.27 just in case. The next version is being developed altough it will take some time (I have clases at morning and at night and even on saturdays). The free time I got I rather spend with my friends and my girfriend.

Sorry but this is not possible. I can´t make World Editor ask you for a password. The best we can do is store an encrypted small backup onto the protected map and then to restore this backup you must provide a password, just like ExtProtect does.

You don´t use Heavy Locker on your map editor. (HL is an external tool, not a plugin). First you create your map as usual and after your map is finished you can use HeavyLocker, ExtProtect or Vex Optmizer to protect it. The protection allows the map to be playable (and downloaded) but won´t allow you to open it on the WolrdEditor. Notice that the "protection" is not 100% proof: it just makes things a bit harder to map stealers. Anyone with some JASS practice can reverse the protection.
