OOC: Firessa is the star of the show right now - not much to add until we know what's going on (but by all means, continue - it's quite interesting.) Siroff glanced wildly, "What in the Light's name!?!" That was about all he spat out before the "cobra" reappeared - in front of him. The serpent hissed, fangs bared. This time, rather than crush its foe, it struck out, its fangs sinking deeply into Siroff's arm. At first, he felt nothing. Then the world turned blue, and suddenly he was icy cold. Once again, he felt something stir within him, and Brylverax was there again, fighting off the magical poison, working to keep Siroff alive. Briefly, he imagined a dragon wyrm battling a great serpent in the sky . . . |

Firessa drifted into unconsciousness again, back to the dreamworld… except that the landscape had completely changed. There she lay in an evergreen clearing of her homeland, somewhere in the forest of Ashenvale. The smells of the sweet flowers made her feel drowsy. The moonlight shone on her armored body. Her armor was not the same then. Instead of the traditional silver moon armor of the Sentinels, she was dressed in a breastplate of red and gold. Everything was of the same theme, forever fire colors. She stood and saw two night-elves. They seemed older than the Lieutenant, accounting for the marks of experience. Their eyes shone with the color of the twilight. One of them was female. Her clothing similar to Firessa's except for the additional stripes of black on the feathers of her hawk-shaped warden mask and along the edges of her cloak and armor. At the joints of her armor parts, black leather was visible. She was of the same height as Firessa. The male elf, on the contrary, had completely reversed colors. He had a similar breastplate and similar cloak, all with colors of icy blue, pure white and shiny silver. His mask was of a bear's shape, having the silver stripes along the eyes and ears and white stripes here and there marking runes on the mask. The overall was of icy blue color and silver. At the joints of his armor parts, white dragonscales was visible. He was higher than the female by some inches. (White dragonscale armor underneath the breastplate… That remembers you of anything, folks?) Firessa stood, stunned at the sight of these two night-elves. The female smiled at the Lieutenant, nodding. How is that possible? Thought Firessa. The male stepped forward, “Yes, Firessa. Here we are. But you know that things like this doesn't last, don't you? “Brother! Sister! Weren't you two dead? asked Firessa with a note of surprise and joy. The female replied, “Yes, Firessa, we're dead. You are in a dream but don't wake up yet! You're here for a reason… “But what's that reason, Fania? Why am I here? asked Firessa. “You're here because your power has awakened. For the same reason as us only twenty years from now. We have both failed to stop Azshara and you are the one who must stop her now. You have already witnessed her power… You know she's evil… said the male elf. “But you are more powerful than me, Ikel. You both were. How can I stop her if you both failed? Firessa asked. “We're not more powerful. We never were. You have always been the most powerful of us three. You are the most perfectly balanced offspring of Mother and Father. You are the real union of the two sides of a night-elf, Queldorei and Kaldorei. You are like the Yin Yang, Firessa. Two contraries are united within you… said Ikel and Fania in unison. “How can you be so sure of that? asked Firessa, “As far as I remember, you always defeated me in the training battles. “We always defeated you because our power had already awakened at that time. We were more powerful then but no longer. Besides, Ikel looked around and then up, at the moon, “We received some indications from above… “From Elune? asked Firessa in surprise again. Fania replied, “No… Well, not really… It's just that – “They talked to us… That's very simple… said another male voice. Firessa whirled around to see two more night-elves, a female and a male again. The female was dressed in a normal lunar armor while the male wore the colors of the light, indicating he was a Highborne. “Father! Mother! Firessa cried out. “Yes, it's us, daughter! said the Sentinel. “I'm so glad to see you again! said Firessa. “Unfortunately, Firessa, you won't be able to enjoy this moment for long. You need to wake up now! Time is running out! Just know that you are someone powerful and you can do anything if you believe in yourself! said the Highborne. “But why? How? Firessa hastily asked but the world faded. Soon, the five of them were standing in the nether and slowly, Firessa's family began to fade too. “Just remember that, Firessa, you can beat Azshara and her army of naga! said everyone to Firessa just before fading in the form of white lights. Firessa bolted upright on the blighted ground. As she looked around, silence weighed heavily on her. The undead were not gone yet. The soldiers of the Light, neither. But they all had their attention on Firessa. Suddenly, a shout pierced through the dead silence. Siroff was being attacked by the cobra. What am I going to do?! I don't know what to do! But Firessa drew her katana, nevertheless. It was then that she noticed the change of color on her skin and her hair. Then, she knew her dream was a blessing and a warning at the same time. With renewed confidence, Firessa launched herself onto the giant serpent. |

OOC: Just so you know, Firessa, I'm a little worried that any drawing I do will get cut off by the scanner here. See my pic for the draw of against Muoteck? It could wind up like that, as a warning. |

OCC: i have a complicated live. Nocking the few undead still left around him kraz walked up to thenaius. Thenaius was busy looking at firessa a fire had light up in the mage`s eyes. "What is she doing?" The sorcerer turned around and looked kraz in his eyes. Still light was spreading from theanius eyesockets. "She is fighting a serpent" Kraz rose his brow, rinkels appeared on his forehead. "Dont see any serpents." They stood there watching Firessa, Kraz didn't see a thing. Thenaius saw all. A combination not unknown to the world. As a soldier you always understood less of the world, all the magic and mistery. "The battle is won, mage" kraz turned as he said that "Were slaying the last few undead" "ok..." was the uninterested awnser of the mage. Kraz grunted as he walked away. Hate filled his heart not his own. "That is the feeling the high born is feeling" "i know" he you guys are you still there?? i dont know what to do when that girls still fighting. |

OOC: I think we lost interest in the RP but I'll make an effort to make things interesting again... I centered the attention on me and I don't know what to do of it now... Isn't there somebody who wants to join? It's getting lame with three persons... :( |
| 10-26-2004, 07:39 PM | #336 |
indeed. im not really a famous person on theys forums.. marco is.. maby he should do something about it.. or you arching blades. PS: do you guys have msn ?? |
| 10-27-2004, 07:57 AM | #337 |
OOC: I know Marco is... But myself, I doubt. The only thing I do here is browse at the finished campaigns, view the art gallery sometimes and RP here. I don't really participate here. I'm more active at another forum... Everyone knows Marco because of his artistic skills... I'll update later... BE SURE OF THAT! P.S Yeah, I have MSN... And I'm sure Marco has too! EDIT: OOC: I think that should be enough for the moment! Firessa rushed to the serpent with a surprising speed. She engaged it with a slash of her burning blade. The serpent dodged, pulling its whole body mass backwards. Firessa charged in once more, with a double diagonal slash and a stab. The serpent moved just as quickly as the katana, moving right, then left and dodging backwards again. The night elf put in more power into her speed, calling upon the magics of the Highborne. Her moves were quicker indeed. Pushing off her limits, she lashed out at her enemy. The cobra dodged and dodged. At this rate, I'll never get to defeat it! Much less against Azshara! I must use my powers! But in what manner? Firessa thought as she fought. ‘Firessa, it's a ghost. You can't fight a ghost like that! It would just adapt each time!' ‘Then help me, Thenaius! Help me!' ‘First, why are you in such a rage? I don't understand… Your appearance has changed too! And your state of mind!' ‘I'll explain. Later!' ‘Okay, I'll wait, night elf!' ‘Now how can I defeat it?' ‘I don't really know how you could do it. But your powers have augmented and I don't know what you're capable of. But this serpent is a product of magic and you must defeat it by magic!' ‘Help me, Thenaius!' Firessa received a full blow from the cobra. She skidded backwards. ‘I told you! I don't know what to do!' ‘Distract it!' Firessa then thought about what Thenaius said. Orc shamans were mobilizing themselves. Though they were under Drakra's command, they had no wish of dying. They formed an inner circle of five and an outer circle of five more. Then they began to chant. Firessa saw the ground light up, linking each of the shamans. Then she understood what they were doing. The light had formed two five-pointer stars, one upright and one upside-down. They were using magic against the serpent. They were invoking something. From the dark sky fell an unholy light, and with it, the damned fire of evil. It struck the cobra with a great shock. All of them disappeared from Firessa's view when the unleashed power created a flash of purple. Some seconds later, Firessa could see clearly again. The shamans were still alive as the cobra. Injuries could be seen all along the serpent's body but the shamans were too tired to strike another spell. ‘I know what to do!' ‘And what must you do?' ‘You'll see. For the moment, throw a powerful spell upon me!' ‘Are you mad, Firessa?' ‘Trust me, Thenaius… I know what I'm doing.' Firessa prepared her katana. She put her mana into it, restarting the blazing fire with which it was burning minutes ago. “No, Thenaius! What are you doing? Karazai was running to the high elf. “Stop it! Has Drakra possessed you or what? Firessa intervened, “Leave it, Karazai! The warrior stopped. Kar was shocked, “Why Firessa? Thenaius continued to cast the spell, “Tala Kerera Tomeis Jaras Iranis… Firessa replied to Karazai, “I have an idea… Don't worry about me… Or the serpent might come to get you next… Don't be anxious! OOC: Look at attachment to see the star the shaman made... I would have drawn the light but I'm quite lame in transferring what I have in mind onto paper... |

Famous? Nah . . . Respected? Only in the Concept Art forums, and only some, I think. Maybe if you post a notice in the Off - Topic Forum? I'll do it if you want . . . Since Firessa's still the star, I'll only contribute a little, and later, I'm afraid . . . |

OOC: Hey! War's finished! And I still have a plan for myself in mind... Besides, there's the stranger to toy with now! And perhaps a few sorties by Tir... And a few attacks by Azshara... Hope we'll get to the end of this story... ;) |

Methias cursed, loosing arrow after arrow behind him. The undead kept coming. Blast it! he thought to himself, turning around to run at full speed. He'd already sent Naya and the others ahead to the main army and safety - now he just had to escape himself. It had been a complete surprise, in the depth of the night - only the fact that they had just returned from a raid had kept them from being caught unarmed and unarmored, completely defenseless. As it was, half the guerilla still died at the "hands" of crypt fiends, swarmed over by vicious tomb spiders. To save the rest, Methias had sent the others away to fight the undead himself, but only long enough to buy the others time to escape. I hope they got back safely . . . The shrieking of gargoyles interrupted his thoughts, and he brought himself back to the task at hand. You're not going to tell anyone where I'm at. A rain of arrows caught the creature in the back, and it plumeted to the ground with a crash. Soft and silent, Methias went over the bodies, snatching the usable arrows from the bodies. He spent a few more seconds to scan the forest for pursuit, and sprinted off in the direction of the undead base. As he ran, he saw glaring eyes watching him from the darkness pervading the woods, but there was no sign of pursuit. Did the undead know what awaited them up ahead? Were they turning their course. Methias did not have the answers. He only knew that he had to return to Thenaius and fulfill his duty to Quel'Thalas. |

I'm sure Arching Blades will let you in - he was concerned about the lack of players anyway. In the mean time, post your character anyways, so he can have a look at it. |

NAME OF CHARACTER: Kelthorose(was written on the tag of his hat) AGE: Unknown(magically he has the maturity of close to four million years except he cannot manipulate the magic that courses through this planet leaving him weak) He has been here for GENDER: Male RACE: Unknown but looks human. APPEARANCE: 6'5 tall has a thin, youthful face, wears a large hat with white skulls on a black background embroider onto it. As well as a long, black robe with the same pattern for the trimmings. Carries a large staff with some kind of seemingly daemonic skull on the top. ITEMS: Ether Staff (it hits things and ever now and again it talks giving sporadic, leading messages), Book of the damned (contains the names of millions of the people he has captured, the only way for the souls to pass into the after life is to have their name erased from the book). Socially retarded, despite his several hundred years consorting with people he still interacts weirdly. Much like vampires do in the presence of mortals. PROFESSION AND SPECIALITY: Soul Spinner, he captures souls of the slain then can ‘spin' them into stones that have various different effects) BIOGRAPHY: It is unknown exactly where he's from; He appeared one day after a great war when over twelve thousand souls passed, as if he was spawned solely on the deaths of the people. He only has one friend and powerful one at that, an arch mage who seems to ‘click with him' he naturally has no recollection before his birth but the mage has concluded he is definitely not human. He has expressed no interest in his passed, as if he has a job to do and what ever came before has no significance. WRITING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: I write a lot of fantasy and sci-fi my friends and some members of my family enjoy, but recently I've taken to post apocalyptic horror or something close to it. I don't write a great deal of WC3 based stuff but the abundance of fantasy work sort of makes up for it. This character is based on my major art piece I did for studio arts. |
