[Preview] Counterstrike at Quel'Thalas

i got another idea, he can hit normally, but he can also make vampire bite that makes him stop fo´r like 2sec and biting them; he gains life, they get killed.

Both proposals taken into consideration. Currently he has a simple vampiric aura that works on him only. Life Drain was proposed only to make the vampire drain life for a longer time (until target is dead), perhaps also freezing the target unit (like a channeling spell).

Anyway, here are two options for the Spearman. The left is fully animated, while the left, in my honest opinion, looks better, but isn't animated. Therefore I'd like to ask you guys what you think.

well u r right, the spell breaker looks better, the other guy is to beefy!
I would vote fore the spell breaker, but now, im not the 1 to make animatins;) but u will need to chane some more stuff, like new skins, maybe remove those wings on the helmet.

The idea is to make his clothing white, since he's a council guard (and most of the council members wear similar color). Since he's also a heavy unit, his skirt will have to get armoured. I've been thinking chain mail, perhaps the rest of the armour should also be converted to a combination of chain mail and armour plates. I'll see what I can do when he's animated.

Maybe he could have Mithril armour?

i think, that would be better, if you, tufy, give to SpellBreaker Elven Footman's head. But, maybe give a spear to some other unit? I'll thinking about it.

P.S. tufy, i told you that i can't do an animation.

No its not called lance, a lance is something to hit people with so they die: a wepon, what i meant is something colorfull to put on your helmet to look cool.

You mean Captain's (Swordman's) head? I already have that head on a couple of models right now (for instance Swordman & Cavalry), so I'd like to give him something different. Perhaps a Lotr style helmet...

Thalion feels exactly right as a priest, as you'll see. He hides who he is (hence the second name "Araithron", Noble Wizard) and he hides something else, I can assure you that :) I've been thinking about changing his model, but that just won't be right. I will change his skin, though, to make him feel... important.



Xaran Alamas, me, did I mention Xaran Alamas and me? And a whole lot of those who only submit models and ideas, of course. I don't allow map making and triggering to anybody else (at least I didn't till now, beta testing will require a good map maker to check a few spots), because I know exactly what I want and I know how to get it. Modeling and skining is another story, hence modelers and skinners are always welcome. Sound Artistry will be offered to Savage once all the models are done.

Hey tufy why dont you get hosting you know what i mean right? all the other projects..n stuff because your project is pretty big and i cant wait to play it P.S. the first part was just a suggestion

I've got a theory about Thalion's secret but I'll wait and see. Anyway tufy guess what, the Troll Forge is finally done! :D I'm preparing the email as we speak :D

Edit: tufy already HAS hosting on my site WarGuild (man that really needs an update...)

And here's a preview of the Troll Forge, I'm sure Tufy will give it a better skin though.
