Heh PCI ain't as good as AGP, but it beats my video card (128 mb GeForce TI 4200 w/ AGP8x). Too bad you have a Celeron processor though. I used to have an old 300 mhz Celeron. Lol what a piece of crap... then again, it ran UT99 pretty well, so at that time I couldn't complain... back then I was just glad to have my own computer. ^_^

Well it's definetly a momumental step up from intergrated graphics, where i had to run UT '04 in 600x480 everything on low.... and it still got like 10 fraems per second.....i feel considerably better now, and should be able to run it on medium and have shiet loads of frames/s. well if you can, making ttoa on DoF and wc3 till it's release after the book i written. If you need any inspiration i can find you a e-book and send you it over msn. I think you should read 'The fall of gondolin'. I'll try getting it to ya tonight k?

EDIT: ian, your ti4200 is better than the 9250, but 9250 is about as good as you can get for pci.

Er... hehe.

I beat Neverwinter Nights tonight. Was quite a fun game, I'd guess I put around 60 hours into it playing it this week. Definitely worth the money if you want a game to buy and entertain you. Make sure you have a good comp though. Mine lags in some areas (video cards fault :\ ) It was a lot of fun, and the storyline was pretty good. Though I sorta already knew a few things about what was going to happen (from other sources like my friends and hearing about the game before).

Now I've got the two expansion packs to play still, but I'll probably take a little break from it first, for the sake of Dawn of Fantasy ^_^

Reverie Entertainments 3rd Anniversary... actually it was yesterday (the 7th)
Finally the new Dawn of Fantasy site has been released!
Also the main Reverie Entertainment site has been updated (http://www.reverieentertainment.net)

I did the flash site, not the actually page-flipping code, as that was a template, but I loaded on all the content.
DVL (aka Daemonkillar) did the Menu buttons, screenshot borders, and the page & cover textures.

On the TTOA front, I'm possibly, maybe, considering making TTOA a module for Neverwinter Nights. However... I'm not sure if it would be TTOA, or just a story based around the world of Arasil (which TTOA takes place in). I don't really want to limit people to playing one character (Archon), I want them to have freedom of character choice. And also... I have to figure out how to mod it. The map building seems simple enough, but the scripting & triggering system looks to be quite complicated.

Well I got the WoW Open Beta. Its pretty sweet so far. My first MMORPG, so it takes a bit of time getting into it. My character is currently a Level 2 Dwarven Hunter.

The graphics kick ass, I love the scale of everything ^_^

I'll prolly post a bit more detail about it some other time, I'm heading off to bed right now.

I restarted in WoW on Test Server 3 yesterday, as a Human Fighter. I am now level 11. Its an awesome game, but plagued with lag from the amount of people playing on the servers. 500,000 is way over the amount that will be playing the full version of the game. The server is down right now, which annoys me, as I was hoping to be able to play a few hours tonight.

Oh yeah, and if anyone sees Wormskull, please tell him to go fuck his self for writing this post about Dawn of Fantasy - http://forums.reverieentertainment.n...read.php?t=139

^ That post really pissed me off... haven't had a burst of anger like that for quite a long time.
Anyway, I'm going to go... do something... while I wait for the WoW server to go back online.

Halo 2 lags none at all, even with its mastered textures and intense 16 player gameplay.
Wormskull is what society calls an asshole, most people are one at points in thier life, but he is 100% of the time online. That comment was out of some foolish desperation to make you all feel less.

Aye, he is indeed a downright jerk.

I figured out why my Neverwinter Nights was lagging so badly. I had my Anti-Aliasing set on like "super fine" quality, so I just turned that down to Quintuple, and framerates skyrocketed. ^_^

anyway, just because i don't mention it much, doesn't mean DoF doesn't look brilliant.

i'll probably buy it when it comes out, except in the likely event that i have no money at that point ^_^
