OOC: Can firessa read minds?

Kelthorose's orange eyes brightened as he came closer the Firessa, her magic contributed to him a quite a bit, he felt regenerated. As if he'd enjoyed a long spell of relaxation after his great journey, her magic was fresh, young and pure. He was not used to such clean, untainted magic, even the arch mages and paladins have a level of evil in their magic but she was perfect. No wonder they sent me Kelthorose rolled over in his mind, he knew such power had to be preserved.

'It dosn't stipulate why you were sent' Firessa asked(her original question ignored, and with more pressing matters she let it slide), trying to rid her voice of impatience. He ignored her looking out across the killing fields to a hill with a large tree on it, 'well?' She asked, she was getting angry now. He turned his whole body and pointed at the tree 'Is one of your operatives on that hill?' Firessa scrunched up her face.
'What do you mean? this is all we have right here' Kelthorose squinted, and watched a black shape drop from the tree and instantly disapear, he knew his eyes couldn't always be trusted but he was sure he felt power eminating from the hill then it vanished. 'Nevermind it's gone now' Firessa was staring at the tree and couldn't see anything moving at all 'What do you mean? What's gone?' Kelthorose Shook his head 'I don't know, from back here I couldn't tell it was probably a scout, we should prepare for another wave.' Firessa was getting annoyed now 'What are you talking about? Focus'
'yes, what is it you want?'
'What are you here for?' She looked at the page 'Kelthorose'
'I'm here to help' She narrowed her eyes.
'help doing what.' Kelthorose flexed his inability to consort with humans and replied 'I was told you had an undead problem, I was sent to help fight, but never mind I must have the wrong place' His face was perfectly straight he didn't mean it as a joke but Firessa smiled anyway 'Fine, fine, we have held them back for a while but we fear the next wave will over run our beaten army.' Kelthorose nodded his head.
'indeed, I will ready myself.'

Kelthorose sat down on a relatively clean corpse and opened his thick book sliding his finger down the page he located the stolen soul of a rogue mage, his name was writhing in the book, trying to escape. Kelthorose pulled out a small purple crystal and after a short ritual the name disapeared from the book and the purple gem was now glowing a healthy blue. The corpse he was sitting on was that of a large goul. He flipped it over and shoved the crystal into the position of where it's heart should be. The beast stirred and eventualy rose it was one of the few that had not been decapitated.

There were screams and yells, the simple minded soliders had feared the 'necromancer' had raised the dead to destroy them. The creature's eyes were glowing the same blue as the crystal. Firessa turned around quickly and looked at the beast 'Kelthorose what the hell are you doing!!! kill it!!!' He turned around to face her 'Why? I think he was jerk when he was alive but I'm sure he's ok now' Her face tightened and she drew her spear.
'Your not funny anymore, get away from it.' He finally realized what she was talking about 'No, don't attack it, it will kill you!!!' for some reason everyone who had just readied themselves leapt back as if the stranger's word had become absolute. He was bluffing and it literally could not hurt anyone Kelthorose did not command it to. 'It's a golem, it contains the soul of a rogue sorcerer, he's from your land, not very powerful and in this body his magic is far weaker.' He paused for a minute, no one seemed to understand what he was talking about. As if what he said was spoken in ancient elven tongue or something 'It's a mage...he can blow things up...he's under my control...' Everyone slowly backed away, lowering their weapons.

Kelthorose's head was throbbing, souls while in the book for as long as he was realize they can't get out and have a lot of thinking time. They think, as soon as given a new body although contained, the mage began pledeing to be released explaining his theory of magical conductors and the use of bendy straws as watch towers. The mental link in order to give him orders, Kelthorose lets them know that if they do exactly what he tells them to they will be free'd either into another body or to the after life. Depending on three things 1) why he captured them 2) what they want 3) whether their 'time out' philosophising can contribute to Kel's power.

OOC: Sorry for hogging the posts, I'll wait for it to do it's rounds again, I'm just bored sorry.

OOC: No, Firessa can't. She might be powerful but reading minds would make her all too ultimate... And at least, you've grasped the short temper of Firessa well enough.... And Firessa doesn't have a spear. She has a katana and a seldom-used bow. I think you've mistaken with Karazai. Karazai was a character from another participant who has left because of an argument somewhere on the forums. Siroff, Kol and Tir were too. Marco, is Count still around?

Firessa felt disgust, disgust for the necromancer standing here. How dare he trap the souls of people? But she had to admit if Methias hadn't succeeding in making the undead reinforcements flee, she knew they'll have need of the dark magics. They had to go away from this place with all the survivors before the undead came.

***

Kar had also spotted the shadow on the tree when Firessa had pointed out the scout.
"Hmmm, so might it be you who was harassing my mind?" She thought.
"I'm going for a walk... somewhere where I'll be away from this place, for sometime. Whenever you need me, contact me..." She said. She needed some loneliness for the moment. She wanted to think about her problems for some time. Kar silently walked away, in the general direction of Raignatan. There were mainly dead trees over there, as everywhere but some distance further, there'll be fresh woods. The landscape was black.

***

The stranger appeared in a clearing, just beyond the blighted ground. Here, there was no blight at all, only the freshness of nature.
"Dammit! They've spotted me too early! Luckily, that necromancer was there..." He said angrily. Then he heard fragments of a mental voice. He searched the ground with his mind and almost immediately spotted the elven woman walking away from the group, going in the direction of Raignatan... and also in his direction.
"Well, well, she's coming... The time of reunion will be coming... soon..." He thought.
He jumped into the trees, trying to get to see her with his own eyes. "Yesss... she's very near indeed..."

Thenaius was giving orders to the ones who where alive and walking.
The wizard started shouting at the direction of a groep of elven healers who refused to heal orcs.
kraz laughed, even after fighting together they refuse to accept eachother. He could feel there disgust for eachother.
With a smile he walked towards the mage, who missunderstood the smile and smiled back at kraz "Glad to see you alive to"
"Glad to be..." kraz rememberd what the lich said and changed his reply "Victory, but at a high cost"
Thenaius rose his eyebrouw
"It was yes. but every dead undead is one step closer to peace"
Kraz was pleased by the words the mage had spoken.

***

Suddenly a headache pounded on kraz his head. In a reflexs he turned towards 2 figures. One was Firessa the other one...was covert in purple wraiths. Strangely he was the only one who could see it becouse nobody seemed to notis it. He took a few steps closer to take a better look at the man, his headache increased.
"arrrrrggg!" screamed the voice.
"You feel it to?" kraz wispered.
"Keltherose!"
How did the voice know that person, kraz thought feeverishly.
So many powerfull entitys at one place. There is going to be a major fight. "Stay away from that man.. ughh..."
Then the voice was gone. The link was broken.
"Ha!, This pale man, kelthorose, destroys the link between us" kraz smiled at that thought. With an extreem headache he walked towards Firessa and Kelthorose to introduce himself.

Kelthorose ceased beeing coverd in in purple wraiths, and instead a large purple creature appeared. The soul that it was felt broken.
He could feel the soul it had a strange feeling to it. Shattered as it was it was still able to think... and obey.
He had almost reached the 2.

OOC:
<< "grip of the spear which was slung over her shoulder. " >>

Arching you said this yourself....Ah I now see your RPing multiple people, nevermind me lol.

<< ""Dammit! They've spotted me too early! Luckily, that necromancer was there..." He said angrily. " >>

...I'm not sure why it's lucky, my character was the one who saw him after sensing his presence, I said Firessa didn't even see him because you said earlier that he was almost invisible, that even to the trained eye he looked like nothing more then a disfigured tree branch.

Ok lets get down to buisness:

Kel looked up from his conversation with Firessa, the goul followed his gaze, as if it was a mirror image. "They're coming! Another waves has rallied." He paused for a minute looking at the mottly army of soldiers, "I suggest they prepare themselves." Firessa looked out over the killing fields, the horizon was writhing, as if it was the floor of a sewer covered with rats.

OOC: I'm better at writing graphic action scenes lol, there is room for graphic action scenes isn't there?

Arching Blades
OOC: Just to clear things... Yes, I control multiple characters. Originally, I controlled only one but I had to take Karazai when the member controlling her left. It is Karazai who has the spear.
It's lucky because if Kelthorose hadn't been there, Firessa would run after him. Well, if he wasn't there, I wouldn't have done anything for her to notice anyway... :D
And of course there's room for graphic scenes. So we had just moved in the eye of the storm... (cyclone as we call it in our country, I think hurricane in America...)

Marco Polaris
OOC: We Americans use the terms cyclone, hurricane, tornado, waterspout, dustdevil, etc. And you're lucky I've got time to add this. I don't think we'll see Count again.

You have got to be kidding me . . . Thenaius turned back to look upon the battlefield, only to see a horde of fresh undead rushing head on at the scattered survivors.

Correction: I've wish you were kidding me. On the bright side, there were only a few compared to the masses they had fought earlier. This could be finished with a quick spell -

Thenaius almost screamed as his lifted his hand for the first incantation. Lowering his arms he quickly, he cursed to himself as Firessa asked him what was wrong.

"I am not as healed as circumstance would have allowed," he said, holding his side carefully. Mentally, he said, Come here.

As Firessa move closer, the elf wizard continued to speak. Don't worry about me. This Kel fellow, though . . . as a visitor, he certainly stains the doormat walking in.

What are you talking about, Thanaius?

Firessa, he's not human, he's not elf, he-he's not even alive - not as you and I are living, at least. He - Thenaius stopped, the hairs on his back standing straight up as he felt another presence trying to listen in on their conversation. Mentally, he grabbed the intrusion - and twisted.

He heard a slight yelp of pain nearby, and didn't even bother to see who it was. Instead, he returned to his now private conversation.

I don't know what he is, and that's dangerous. He could work for the Legion, Ner'zhul, or -

I'm not stupid, Thenaius. I've got my eye on him. Now, if you don't need me here, I think our troops need support.

WAIT!

She stopped. What is it, Thenaius?

Exactly how much magical training do you have? Because, uh, I'm sure a proper tutor can help to -

Thenaius Featherweave, are you asking me out?

Well, um . . . maybe after the fight?

Kel Bashed the bottom of his staff against the ground, the skull top's mouth opened and a large, steel scythe emerged. He held it with both his hands an assumed an aggressive pose, awaiting the next wave of dribbling undead. The Captured mage fell in behind him, the ghoul growled and blood slid out of it's mouth, despite being animated it was still well and truly dead. The small army prepared themselves and rallied behind the two mages, kel realised he would not be worth his salt here an moved to the right flank, the goul following him at his heels.

The undead picked up speed, they were less then minute from the aliance's lines.

OOC: Nice idea, Marco… About the date… *chuckle* Funny how it turned out!

Kar walked on to the forest. She could feel someone watching her. The feeling didn't once leave her since sometime earlier and she felt sure the feeling was right. Although she couldn't well say if her feelings about things are reliable but they proved to be sometimes.
“Kar, come back. The undead are already here. It was Firessa.
“Okay, I'll be right back then. Then she cut the connection. She waited there for a few minutes, thinking, We're on for another ride with the Grim Reaper, I suppose… Besides, I guess this matter can wait a few hours…
“No, Karazai. It can't!

***

Firessa smiled to herself, thinking of the way Thenaius had finally asked her out. But it was not time for this. The undead were back. Quickly warning Karazai, she turned her mind onto oncoming matters. She unsheathed her katana but instead of holding it in front of her, burning, as she always did, she let it fall to the ground. In a tone little more than a whisper, she said a spell during which fire would light and move towards the undead. The fire line moved on and on while the fire began to build up into a frame.
Firessa took the katana up again, saying, “This is a firewall. It should work well against the undead, considering that it should normally burn anything that went through…
Siroff made a face at that, “Normally?
Firessa looked at him and smiled, “It's just that… sometimes, it would just let the trespassers pass… or…
“Or? Siroff pressed on and everyone was interested now.
“Or it could just blow up scorching anything around it… fortunately not a big radius… Firessa said.
She looked out at Karazai. The latter was still there, seemingly thinking. All of a sudden, her head jerked up, looking everywhere. Firessa reached out for her mind. But she wasn't quick enough. Something flashed and Karazai was gone. But it wasn't anything bright. It looked like a shadow.
Sudden anger coursed through her mind and before she knew it, the voice was back again. Azshara…

***

The stranger knocked Karazai unconscious as he carried her towards a secret place of his. He was intent on not letting her go before they cleared away some things… And those things… were important… to him, at the very least.
