Hrm...so it does. But this one doesn't, I promise =). Due to the fact that this is your second try, and if you're anything like me, you hate downloading random things, I'll give you a quick explanation. This demo is basically nothing more than a camera flying around in a narrow canyon. The thing that makes this special, however, is that the camera is totally fluid. Instead of starting from a complete stop and immediately beginning a steady course of movement, it starts at a complete stop and gradually works it's way into full speed. Instead of mechanically panning from camera to camera, it glides along it's path. There are no jagged edges in the camera work...at all. The movement looks so natural, it's easy to take for granted...which of course is the point. But as you watch it, consider what it would look like using standard camera pans. This file is protected, but the code will be released to the public, probably through the next version of PitzerMike's WE:Unlimited. |

Thanks =) That one only took about an hour...maybe an hour and a half to setup (obviously not including the work on the camera system). I'm currently working on one that's sort of similar, but it's a full fledged movie. I think I'm using about 16 cameras for that demo...I've got over 200 for the one I'm working on now. |
