Btw did you Start over cause in the previews it doesnt show the skins or is it part of diff map?And when will it be finished I can help with any stiff triggering,icons,Skins,models,and Cameras.

He is just showing screenshots of the terrain he is working on. Its seperate from my work, which includes all of the models and stuff. When they merge together, it'll be his terrain, and my models.

Terrain 60% complete made a open water area. Much detail is put into this water area. I also worked on a new hilly area. Medium amounts of deatails but fun to blow apart. Also home to creatures, but then again what area isnt home to creatures o_O :\

Hexen I replied to your PM, Also the map size jumped to 282Kb. Not a large increase considering the land i've added, but then again towards the end i must remove unnecessary doodads and land deformations and add finishing touches.

HillZone: Not much detail put into this part of the map but then again, i find this part of the map to be a more open part of the map.

Water Area: Extreme Detail was put into this part of the map, it's also a very open part of the map, a nice addition to any map.

Grassy plateaus are fine, just make sure they are higher.

Not sure about this, but don't plateaus get a rocky cliff around them once the height is increased?

I think he'd release them for high ammounts for money, or if promised a longer life, otherwise, we're out of luck.

Anyways, I hate to say it, but the terrain isn't looking too good.

The terrain is 500 times better than the terrain I originally planned to use, take a look at the posts I made showing the terrain, not nearly as good as his terrain, and not nearly as detailed either.

But i quit when i found your map on google search no point in sending a map when there a map 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000X Better than my map so i was wondering if youd sumbit the models so i can use them but you said only a few only 2-3 probbaly

Heh, I'm too lazy to look through every one of these posts to find earlier terrain.

Yet, for such a map, you need much better terrain. It'd be a shame to let such a large part of visuals go to waste.

I think its actually pretty good. I will be adding in SEVERAL custom building/doodad models to spice it up a bit. I'll probably make a few quick changes to allow certain battles or whatever.

Hmm I still want to hear what this guy has to say about the terrain. Honestly I can't see any problem with it but yet sometime more experienced guy always see some kind of problem with a terrain piece. Though they can never reply and actually state "what" the problem really is.

544 topics in the Maps in Development forum, and this one has by far the most posts... seems like people are looking forward to this project :).

I want to see what he has to say too.

Btw, I LOVE the water area, because I know of a few battles that can take place there, but one more thing, items can't spawn in water areas, therefore dragonballs cannot spawn in the water areas, so don't make a great deal of the map.. well, water. A mistake my last terrainer made, that caused me to reterrain a large part of the map.

I heard from a friend that people act like there drunk late at night maybe he is.The Terrain is
