RP Story

A shadow watched the two as they went back into the forest to avoid the destroyed town. The demon assasin had never seen a light skinned elf. The other person is who caught the assasin's eye. He could tell little about the masked person, that is what interested the assasin. It decided to watch the two a little longer then return to the demoness who was in the town.

Takilarae, followed by two of her new servants, walked through the rubble of the town they had destroyed. She could hear a couple succubi having some "fun" with a few of the captured creatures.
The demoness found one of the larger, still burning fires. She ordered her servants to wait, then walked into the middle of it. Takilarea relaxed as she let the fire lick her skin and tenticles. She also began a spell to help her search for the night elf.
The servants were frightened as the shadow dancer appeared from the shadows behind them and spoke.
"There are a pair of mortals in the forest abowe the town."
"Did they see anyone in the town, assasin?"
"I don't beleive so."
"Then go watch them. attempt to capture them if the do see anyone down here."
The assasin bowed. "Yes my lady."
He moved back into the shadows.
The demoness looked into her spell created window searching for the night elf.
She only had it looking on the mortal plane, she did not know about the Emerald Dream.

The glint in her eyes though was tiny and barely noticeable to people at arm's length. Firessa felt weak after the assault but now was not the time to show weakness. They had to wake up from the Nightmare or else… they will be chased to the ends of eternity. Then, voicing her thoughts, she knew there was a problem to the very solution. The question echoed in her mind: How to wake up?

OOC: The change in her eyes does not change her attitude… yet… She doesn't even know about it so…

Kar and the stranger raced down the alley they had managed to find in the forest. Something was on their trails and it seemed oddly familiar. Armor shining brightly in the sunlight, Kar forced herself to cover more steps. She was exhausted and could not take it any longer. Her knees buckled and her arms lashed instantaneously for support. The stranger slowed to a halt to help her onto her feet.
It was then that the elven commander caught up with them. He and a whole squad of fifteen footmen who no doubt were rated as the elite.
“How we meet again, my old friend!� Tir sneered. He clutched his sword, ready for any assault.
“Good day, huh, Tir?� said the dark one. He also stood ready, with a spear in his hands…
“Yes, indeed,� Tir said in sickly sweet tone, “Good day to die�
He went into a stab as the stranger parried the blade with a powerful spinning of the spear while he himself went in for a knock…

OOC: When is Thenaius getting to meet them? That's just a day later. I think you all know who Tir is. He was there at the beginning until the death of Kol Aronos by the time the duels were on...

OOC: Mostly, I'm trying to wait for a few of the others to have a chance to reply, so I'm focusing more on the trek through the Emerald Dream.

"Firessa? Are you alright? Look we're almost there, and I have a means of transporting us physically back to Azeroth, but you two are going to have to stay consious." He looked quietly at the prone Cania. "Firessa, can you find some herbs nearby to rouse her? I know this forest is rotted but-"

"I'll see what I can do," Firessa interjected, disappearing into the grove. Only belatedly did Siroff realize that he'd let her go off on her own.

Come on, Siroff, focus! You've gone for longer than this without sleep! Siroff drew his sword and made a few practise swings to rouse his failing wit.

It's not working. Now I'm starting to hallucinate, seeing a portal -

Siroff started with realization. That was no mirrage. He saw a portal into a burning city full of demons, one walking away from its hiding spot - no doubt to report them.

The Nightmare! It's tearing open the barriers between the Emerald Dream and Azeroth! But then -

A scream echoed through the forest, followed by several more shrill cries. Before Siroff could act, dozens of the fleeting Unwaken launched themselves through the portal and into Azeroth.

Dear Light . . . if this continues . . . No time to ponder that, I need a way to shut off this portal, or at least block it up with something.

Firessa returned, holding several leaves. "Siroff, I heard -"

"Never mind them! They're not our problem for now! Wake up Cania - I may need the aid of both of you."

Firessa looked at the gaping hole in the forest. "You've opened the portal, Siroff? I thought we still had a bit longer to run."

"I didn't open this, Firessa, and there's nothing on the other side that really makes me want to go through it. That's why I'll need your help destroying it."

Mia felt she had been in the burning ruins long enough. She was making her way back to the caves the demons were using as a place to rest when she saw a strange portal open nearby.
Through the portal she saw one of the pink skinned mortals that had made their homes in this town. Knowing that the shadow dancer was likely watching nearby she began walking in the direction of the demoness. Mia stopped when she heared a scream coming through the portal, as well as a distorted form of the mortal creatures.
Mia spread her wings to get to the top of the nearest, still standing building. As her feet touched down, the shadow dancer stepped out of a nearby doorway, 20 yards in front of the creatures. It drew curved daggers from under its cloak, and faced the unwaking.
"You, alu, go bring the mistress here while i have some fun."
Mia nodded and took flight as a handful of succubi began pearching on the buildings and rubble.
The shadow dancer let out a low laugh escape as one of the unwaking attempted to drive its claw into it, it missed. it had a dagger through its spinal colum and peircing its heart.
Mia lost sight then as she flew over another building.



OCC:The cave i mentioned for the demons is not the same one that Kar is near.

Firessa was beside Cania trying to wake her up. Cania woke with a splitting headache, and no memery of her being attacked by the one unwaking, the one her amulet destroyed.
"Welcome back Cania."
Firessa helped Cania to her feet.
"Finally she is awake, we can leave now."
Siroff was standing nearby with his sword drawn.
"What happened, why was I asleep?"
The other two looked at Cania in surprise. but it only lasted an instant. Siroff directed his attention back to somewhere in the woods.
"We dont have time for this right now."
Cania looked where Siroff was looking and saw the portal, she was only happy for a moment untill she saw the unwaking going through the portal. looking through the portal, what made her think that they had to close the portal quickly, she saw the succubi on the ruined buildings, and the demoness approching the unwaking. Firessa saw recognition in Canias eyes as she looked through the portal. Cania did not recognize the demon who was easily outmanuvering the unwaking.
"We have to shut that portal." Cania agreed with Siroff without knowing that is what he wanted.
Cania's reason was the chance that the demons would get through to here, not the unwaking getting through the other way.

Is anyone out there, its been almost a week since anyone but me has posted. Is this a busy week for you guys? Do you have finals, or something along that line?

Yes, yes I do. Or whatever they're called halfway through . . . mid-terms, semifinals, whatever.

Not a problem, I wasn't offended in the slightest.

This, as far as i know, has been the longest it has been since anyone has posted an addition to the story. I was the last one to post a part of the story so i dont exactly want to add anything.
I wonder what happened to Arching Blades. Maybe his comp has a virus or something. :(

OCC: Here is a little more to continue the last part i added.

Takilarae could feel something calling her through the portal she could see. She could feel it even before the alu found her.
The nightelf that she had been hunting could be seen through the portal.
One of the strange creatures who were coming through the portal attacked the demoness; it was thrown aside like a rag doll by her tenticles.
Even more of the creatures were coming after the demoness, blocking her path to the portal. she hissed with anger, picked one of the creatures up with her tenticles and began to squeez it.
the other unwaking she picked up with her hand. its flesh began to burn away in her angered grip. she threw it to the side, against a building.
A few of the unwaking that the assasin had felled were getiing back up. a couple of them were trying to reach the succubi, but failing.
The demoness was staring at the night elf through the portal. her eyes burning red.

Siroff noticed the intense stare of the demoness twoard Cania.

Ha, ha... I'd like to join this, but I really lost track of this :P

Perhaps you should make multiple threads for certain areas or so? I've seen something similar before on other forums.

There was a summery on page 14 for when i joined in. and on page...16 most of the way down.
read those summaries and the pages after them that is all you to do.
make your character, check the first page for the character guidelines.

the threads creator hasnt been on in a while so you cant ask him any questions.

Why be surprised? I am working on a story at home too, which isn't posted here on the forum. Not to mention that I am here at work as well and that I got other things I have to attend to as well.

I am the no.2 Poster of the forum right now after all, and not by too long, will I be the number 1.
One story more or less won't be too much work... I guess...
I only need to find the time to read from page 14 :P I have to write the review for The Awards and If and only if as well right now :P
