You know what sucks ? Your drawing. Lemme elaborate before you freak out on me, though; I've recently made some progress in the hard arts of pencil drawing, and I thought I was pretty good. Then, I post my drawing, and then I see yours. Which shows me just what the rest of the world is capable of, both in terms of drawing and in terms of painful irony. So now I'm slightly depressive on my drawings skillz :( |

Jeez, don't whine about it - DRAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For many it takes time and lots of practice! (Many that I have taught get too busy to draw so they stop - for a long time and when they get back into it they're just as bad or worse than before) If you really want to draw better.....Draw A LOT!, Look off of others for examples, buy some good how to books to refine your techniques as well as use as a resource for poses. And as I said I'm more than willing to help anyone! Just 1 rule: draw as much as you can and don't stop for more than a week at most! BtW: My next WC works on the drawing table are Jaina, a male and a female death knight, and from WC2 Expansion Teron Gorefiend and Deathwing - I might do a Warden and a Demon Hunter as well. Oh and a comic between feuding Sorceresses and the invisibility spell! |

You rule, Lazzy :D :foot: :ggani: And I'll draw allright. Just made a crappy picture of a stickman being hanged by a mob of angry stickmen throwing rocks at him, Not art, but certainly vent for my anger, no ? Edit: for the very basics of perspectives (my hardest thing), can you recommend a site ? I really need to work on perspectives ! Perspectives ! They're coming for me ! Argh ! PERSPECTIVES ! *raves around, runs away, screaming about "zombie perspectives"* |

Guest | Nice drawing ( i'm talking about the 2 elves chicks ), need some work on breasts though. j/k About your drawing of lazarus i really like it, the color / armor are looking really good, except one thing : his left arm looks a bit ://// Anyway you're making fine drawings, you deserve to be in the guest section. :foot: |

Daemon: Perspectives! Ahhh! Seriously, I have not found any site that had a descent or a in depth tutorial on drawing people and objects in perspectives. As for books I recommend How to Draw Manga vol1 & 2 and HtDM Perspective. As for CG tutorials, I'll do both PSP and PS (Just 1 thing, well actually a couple things 1. I'm not a cel shader - I do everything soft shaded so if you want cell shade your kinda on your own to figure out the best ways to get a good cell look ie) placement of highlights and shadows.) But they'll probably be pretty big, even if I convert them to PDFs (I don't like splitting a tut. up into a lot of little pages). I don't have a place to host them! So if it's too big I'll will need a volunteer to host it. Ah! Your not the first to notice the arm thing, I'll tell you what I told Ogre Crossing at Infoceptor. The pants and the sleeves were designed to be baggy and bulgy, the arm is extended and is tied off by an arm band and weighed down by the armor plates (compressing the sleeve on top - bulging out the bottom end), I know it kinda looks wierd, I could have illutrated it better (in retrospect) but it's finished and a pain to work on (the vector lines in PSP is a little slow when you have a ton of line) |
