Very nice, DK. I'm really loving the Indiana Jones parody. :D How did you do that rolling ball effect? emote_sweat But, again...Good Job! :D Sucks that you cut it off right when it was getting GOOD :bgrun:. Hopefully, you will return to COTN, and do a part 6... Just finish it up, or something... |

Excellent job DaemonKillar. I was a little disappointed at the 'To be continued...' ending, but it's still the best cinematic ever created on the face of the earth... in my opinion. Liked the credits, they looked, no, were really professional. Once again, Excellent job DK. -The J Man |

I hate you for ending it there, that was truly amazing. I'm shocked..... I can't wait 'till you do more of this, if you are to do more. I know I sound like an *** hole, but hurry your vacation up! =D |

Am I the only one who was disappointed with COTN 5, even with my exceedingly low expectations? The only thing good about part 5 was the visuals. The lack of interest shows, it really does. Not too mention the rush in which it was made, due to the ****ing impatient assholes in this forum. *glares around* By the way, you do like your references to movies with archeological characters in them don't you? I recognized a sequence taken directly from Indiana Jones, two taken directly from The Mummy Returns, and one suspiciously reminiscent of the first Tomb Raider. |

I waited for cotn part5 for so many months. nearly a year, eh? And now what have i been given? Best looking but worst interesting part ever! Can you tell me, what you have done all the time? I know how much work it is, to complete a cinematic. But "HEY!!!" what was so hard to do in this one? The most time of the 25 promised minutes of great cinematic entertaining were pictures, that you could have caught in a screenshot. The story evolves, but nothing relly happens! Part 4 was your masterpiece, especially in the updated version, but this one... nah! It's still an awesome cinematic, and I dont know, who else could have done this but you, but with all your promises and your stories about the hard works you really ****ed your fans DaemonKillar! I'm glad, you dont continue this and sad at the same time. Until Part4 it was the greatest story ever told on such media, but now its quality decreases and i dot think, it gets any better as u worked about 8 months or so on it, and its not as half as good as your last movie, on which you worked about 3 months, eh? I'm very disappointed of part 5 to summarize it for the last sentence only readers, and i hope your multiplayer map wont follow this! good night, and whatever! sorry for wrong language, im german! |

One person who agrees. Yet none of these big COTN fans have yet contested these views. Would it be that they can't find any counter-arguements? The lack of interest he mentioned several times really shows, eh OkiTu? |

I must admit that there are signs in CotN 5 of the lost of interest DK had/has. But why blame DK? I mean, I did no more then expect him to lose interest in this one day, it was only a matter of time. It's more then natural. There is no way you'll stay interested in something for years without losing interest in it at least a few times. Also, the (great!) pressure many people put on DK's shoulders, resulted in him losing interest faster and 'rushing' (note the second scene's filename is 'Part5s2Short.w3x') the part. Like he said himself Quote:
If only some people had a little more patience, and respected DK for having a life outside Wc3C/CotN. When it's summer, you ain't going to spend your time all day behind the computer! And I'm sure DK will come back to CotN one day, but in his own time and on his own willing, not when the 'fans' want it. Seriously, you can't blame DaemonKillar! ~ Nuladion Btw, CotN 5 isn't that bad! I mean, the terrain is awesome, the sound fits really well and there is plenty off new/innovative stuff (Gargoyle scene for example!). It's just that it wasn't finished... PS. I don't say you're one of the people that rushed DK. I'm only explaining why he lost interest. @ DK: If I said anything wrong, please correct me! ;) |

No, that all right. I respect the "negative" opinion here because I believe there's a little bit of truth in it, but as Nuladion said, you don't go and blame somebody when he's only volunteering some of his time to entertain people. |

Exactly. I mean, you're doing this for fun! You ain't getting paid (lol, but if you get PayPal one day, I might donate you some ;)). You're doing this all in your free time, for yourself and the cinematic community. And I sure as hell thank you for that :D ~ Nuladion |

I was not blaming DK. I was blaming the fans, who've been pressuring DK to '****in' finish part 5 already' then claimed it was all 'wonderful and incredible and super' but fail to give reasons, or contest reasons for it being bad. Fan Demand never makes good projects. To bad people never realize this. Utter greed it is, the scourge of the world. Fan demand destroyed The Matrix franchise, the Jurassic Park franchise, and last, but absolutely not least, the Alien franchise, which is going to be ****ed up more, with Alien Vs. Predator coming out next year. If it seemed as if I was turning you into some total disappointment, DK, then I apologize. You still gave us parts 1-4, which were the most innovative things I've seen in WarCraft 3, and I'm willing to go as far as to say that it actually revolutionized WarCraft 3 Map-Making. It's Fan Demand that killed Creatures of the Night. It was AIDS, and you were the doctor trying to keep the patient alive for as long as you could. Oops, I just compared half this forum to HIV. That's not gonna make me loved! Of course, when sending a message, something as blunt as that usually works best to get it across: Let the artists do their work! Putting heart in a project does not come by getting rushed! Just a question, DK, but did you still REALLY feel that you were "Volunteering to Entertain People"? ((On a side note, I've seen the Gargoyle scene before several times, in Tomb Raider, in a Simbad Movie, and of course, in the cartoon series 'Gargoyles'. If, of course, you mean the one where Valeria goes 'Was it you?'.)) Thank you for reading my overlong rant. ((On another side note, Nederlands? Gaaf. Er zijn te weinig Nederlanders op wc3campaigns.)) |

Man, that song is awesome!!! :D :ggani: Yes, I agree most fans have been pushing DK too much. Why couldn't they just be patient? :( But I don't agree CotN is killed. You're right that CotN V shows it was made with less interest and has been rushed, but I don't think CotN is death. I am still confident DK will come back to CotN one day. Maybe then he'll redo CotN 5 and make it the masterpiece is was supposed to be.
