I think the rule one of making town is dont make symetric town with road like this _|_ make them more "special" _/!_

I like the idea of real size building but it would look ugly in a bird eye view for most.

I make town like in lotr or other. It would be very nice to find screenshot of town from movie to take some element.

I make towns with twisty roads. Very developed, royal cities I use straight roads.

My towns aren't symetrical at all. I like to cram buildings up and make it feel very urban and really "crammed up". Cities are more even, symetrical. Some people even have yards!

Yeah you can see I tryed to make a big house in one of my screenshots by raising the terrain up I think it turned out nicely. Look at the screen of the red house. Ihave made houses with backyards, heck I even made ranch homes with farmland and even stables but they dont turn out nicely. I do have sick ideas for towns though.

I tried scaling up buidlings, but units walk through them :////

I lost heart at the idea of path blocking 500 buildings and walls.

I'd use any of these works for my mod. My map has 4 urban areas afterall.
