Ehh, what does that mean ?

This is about people exploiting people, if they don't want to give away their models without pay, well, too bad. But don't show it off saying that they want payment.

I see two people doing this...AFTER less than 1 hour after it's created, yes I get worried. This isn't the way I want this community to become.

I don't approve of this, and the only way I see fit, is to speak my mind, if noone listens I'll just leave. I love it here, and I love the people...but if I'm not gonna get heard, this isn't the place for me.

YES, we are some good people, but face it, most people here are teenagers or morons...not saying all teenagers are morons...ehh..nm :P Point being, most people will react with: Pay me this, and u can have that...

I like the post counts better. This is even worse than having post counts. Now we have a huge barter system!

All in all, I'm going to go with this as my final oppinion:

Fix the bartering, it will lead to no good. I can live with the rest, paying for avatars and for glow on names and whatnot is cool. (I've done this before in a Chat room...) Just PLEASE, do something about the bartering....

That mean your pessimistic, if you say half full you are optimistic

anyways, this has to be fixed right away. I know most people are saying whats the big deal, but those of us who have to contend with this problem is why this thread was made, there are many people here who dont make maps, and dont request modles and such. But for those who do, you just gave the people who do this for us a way to charge us!

For bartering, think of it more as a new reward system for those who CHOOSE to use it. You are rewarded with a gift kind of thing after being someone useful and productive to the site. Whats the secret to being useful and productive? I dont know, but swearing and dissing a new born system sure wont help you.

CHOOSE!? you dare say choose? how can WE choose when are are the ones being harrased by it!? not using it, ahem, we can't NOT use it. Please tell me what button to press that kills the system! If we don't use the only system, we can't do anything. We can only fight to change the system.

I dont know what you guys are geting so worked about. i LOVE the piont system i mean in 2 days i have 165 pionts. i dont have anything wronmg with selling for pionts unless there ike 600 for a skin. i mean when people requests the weapon removed from a unit i say ill do it for 10 piuonts. i think everyone can ahndle ten pionts. i think the piont system should stay i mean when people charge pionts for skins and stuff it will encoarage them to do better on it. it also will get kids that are 14 or around there familiar with how the economy works. someone makes somthing or a service and offers it to the public or somthing in return.

all you guys have to do is get into a little group and rate each others posts and get 1 piont for each. The piont system is a strong addition to this site that i hope will stay with us. and if you people leave there will be less <A TITLE="Click for more information about spam" STYLE="background-color: #f0f000; " HREF="http://search.targetwords.com/u.search?x=5977|1||||spam|AA1VDw">spam</A>. you dont even have to spam to gets pionts just get good at somthing and make your own service.

Reward system? Your one of thoes persons that won't help unless you get something out of it, praise...points, whatever.

You should be happy to help out people, and share your work if that is what you want, not demand payment for it.

We aren't swearing or dissing the system, we are simply pointing out flaws and stating our oppinion in general.

You haven't given out much on the boards, other than screens and some comments, while lots of others share their icons, models and skins without wanting other than Credits...

All I'm hoping for, is that they do something to change the bartering ability...

As I already said, on another related thread meh, the requests section wasnt working, nobody was doing much for anyone. Now its working, and is it so hard to be someone less than usefull?People choose to offer their skins etc. for a few points and people choose to request what skins etc. they want. People are finally helping each other, before nobody would even bother looking in the requests forum, now people are trying their best to help out.
And if you dont want it to use the little bonus for being someone good here, the positive post inspiring extra, then dont use it.

I can't just "not" use it, if I see a skin I want, I'll need to pay...way it's gonna work.

But I'm sure, I'll never release something, charging points for it. I'll do stuff to help people, no need for payment.

I strongly discourage any users of paying for knowledge or wc3 items.

I dont want to pay, but they are forcing us!By requiring points for help:

a) mappers get 0, modlers and skiner get ritch, they have a hard product, of witch the quality can be assured, people will never pay for maps, as they cant be sure of its quality untill played.
b) you really cant controll the requests, what are you going to ban people who say"Sure il help ya, but for 100 points"?
